You are using improper spelling, improper grammar, edit warring, using fourth level bullets, and writing examples that don't fit the trope as per the way the example is written. Your edit should be removed.

As for the edit lock, that means someone else is editing the page.

Ah,okay, thank you for clearing that up. I didn't realize I'd made so many errors, can you point them out so that I don't repeat them or help me find a section that will clarify things for me? I'm unclear as to what a "fourth level" bullet is, for example. Also, I certainly did mean to engage in an edit war, in fact I wanted to avoid that but receive no communication from either of the other two users. Although I did redo my removed edits, there was always a significant time frame between them.

I want to a productive member of this site but perhaps I'm simply not qualified to do so, or my views are not inline with the majority of users. I think much of what is considered a Trope is subject to interpretation. Thanks for your time.

A fourth-level bullet is a four-asterisk example.

In general, even a third-level bullet should be very carefully considered. Four is crazy. See How To Write An Example.

You have a large run-on sentence lacking any punctuation. As far as spelling goes "earlist appearences" should be "earliest appearances"

You might also want to visit the English help thread. They can help correct your grammar and spelling before you post.
