Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help. It's not for everything, though. We - what???

That's not a rule to my knowledge. We go by county of origin, not release.

That's... completely illogical. Move it to Anime, yes.

I believe we have a few works that have aired earlier elsewhere than in the country of production, and we don't classify them as "Country of Airing Works".

Crossover-Enthusiast is right. In addition, as mentioned above, this isn't even the only work that's been released outside its home country before being released domestically.

Doing the move. In the meantime we can edit the wicks.

We go by county of origin, not release.

No, we define "country of origin" as the country the work is intended to release in first, rather than the nationality of the creator(s). Co-productions and outsourcing work complicates the "reator" question. International releases complicate the same problem in different ways.

Recent thread.

Note that I have often said that I'd rather we didn't separate namespace by culture. I think that it causes more problems than it solves. I'm also thinking of a dedicated Wiki Talk discussion to separate Animated Film from animated television series, something much easier to do than a full merge across all (three) animated mediums.

Somewhat related: The Lupin III entry on Backwards-Firing Gun is a bit of a mess. Anyone familiar with the franchise able to clean it up?

To PurpleEyedGuma: thanks for the move. Though about the redirect leftover, it was a bit premature to put it in the cutlist. We need it to do the wick correction; it should be cutlisted only once down to zero wicks.
