To paraphrase The Simpsons, the gag is mildly amusing at first then gets steadily less funny as time goes on. Also, that Real Life section needs some pruning, as arctimon says, the two you quoted aren't really examples. Possibly Wayne Brady's could be salvaged, but it sounds like it should be in the TV section for Whose Line Is It Anyways.
I didn't choose the troping life, the troping life chose meWith the exception of the second Wayne Brady bullet point, how are they First-Person Writing? They violate ZCE and Word Cruft (most of the entries don't mention how the people themselves speak in rhymes), though.
^ Actually, I think the only entry that's worth keeping is the Nipsey Russell one, as it at least mentions how the person could "pull off a couplet at just the drop of a hat".

So, in the Real Life section of Rhymes on a Dime, some troper(s) decided to write a couple of examples as a Self-Demonstrating Article:
Normally I would delete as an instance of First-Person Writing as it is a violation of wiki rules, but in this case it is clearly part of the self-demonstrating style. What should I do?
