So, I'm looking for this slice-of-life graphic novel that I saw at a book fair. I think it has "Moon" in the title.
So, the protagonist is this girl (who might be Asian, I don't remember). She meets and befriends this other girl (who would be Asian if the protagonist is) who's nicknamed "Moon" or something.
Eventually, "Moon" confides in the protagonist that, late at night, she has visions of "celestial beings". But it turns out that "Moon" has a brain tumor and has been hallucinating.
I clearly remember a scene where "Moon" just collapses during some sort of party, and then it cuts to a doctor saying that "Moon" has a brain tumor that was located near the back of her head. It was originally just pressing on her visual lobe, but it's grown bigger and that's why "Moon" collapsed. Then the doc says "she must've been having seizures this whole time, and nobody's noticed..." and the protagonist, who was the only one "Moon" told about the "celestial beings", realizes that her keeping it a secret has hurt her friend...
