I'm pretty sure that it was Atari, and I'm pretty sure it was an Indiana Jones game. The Angry Video Game nerd did a review of the Atari Indiana Jones game here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O82pX2XQIQ
At about 0:55. In that game you need two controllers, you need to buy a bomb to blow a hole in the wall to progress. You also can't go down to the lower screen too fast or you will get trapped in a screen with (who I presume is) Toht trying to kill you.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither. That's it! Thanks.
I teleported home last night / With Ron and Sid and Meg / Ron stole Meggy's heart away / And I got Sidney's leg - Douglas Adams

I'm looking for a particular video game. It was on the NES or Atari console (pretty sure it was the NES, but I could be mistaken). The big thing that I remember about it is that it required the use of both controllers, even though it was strictly a single-player game. It was either a top-down or three-quarters view.
I can't remember anything about the plot. All I can remember is that, at one point, you have to find a bomb to blow a hole in a wall to continue. To be safe from the blast, you have to go one screen down, then go to the very bottom of that screen, to the point that your character is almost off the screen. However, if you go far enough that the screen scrolls, you wind up falling into a pit, and your character is turned into a ball, and you have to bounce your way back up and out (yeah, it's that kind of game, I think).
Is this ringing any bells?
