Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
It should be on the main page.
Game Grumps' main form of content are their playthroughs and opinions on videogames and other media. Their reactions are thus not YMMV — it's the entire basis of the work itself.
Their opinions, if meritorious, may be added to the YMMV page of the work they're playing/critiquing for providing context. But, once again, their opinions on their own show is literally what the show is about.
Edited by NubianSatyressIf the other works are the games the play, it could be valid, or possibly moved to the main work page as In-Universe examples, but I think some specific examples are needed before anyone can say for certain.
Skimming the page:
- It's Short, So It Sucks!: Discussed in their Donkey Kong Country playthrough. Their opinion is that a game shouldn't be any longer than it needs to be and that a tight six-hour game is far better than a sixty-hour game spent mostly just wandering between the actual "game" parts.
Move to the main page as In-Universe.
- Play the Game, Skip the Story: They don't have much patience for dialogue, even though skipping it almost always gets them in trouble.
This is a little complainy, and probably too low on context. It could likely be expanded and moved to the main page as In-Universe.
- Scrappy Mechanic: For Jon, the shovel in Goof Troop, which wants you to perform systematic digging for Meaningless Lives.
Low on context, but if expanded, it could probably count as In-Universe.
There's probably more but yeah, these can be moved, but only if they have enough context.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I believe there's actually a cleanup thread somewhere for this very purpose.
Edit: Found it.

I was reading the YMMV page for Game Grumps and noticed that several examples describe how one of the show's hosts reacted to another work. It strikes me as a bit odd, since I expected the article to describe Audience Reactions to Game Grumps itself. Could someone please clarify whether YMMV pages can be used to document the Let's Player's opinions? Thanks.
