I would like to add my two cents on the What Happened to the Mouse? entry: in many stories, some characters enter the story, serve their role and leave without much fanfare. If they have served their purpose and exit the story, then it's not a What Happened to the Mouse? situation because there isn't some final "where are they now" information given.

^If so, about the entries from the movie.

  • What Happened to the Mouse?:
    • In Generation 4, it's shown that disharmony between the three pony races summons ghostly, horse-like creatures known as Windigos that feed on their negative emotions and turn Equestria into an icy wasteland. Here, the three races living apart and believing the worst of each other seems to have eliminated magic entirely, with no hint of the Windigos ever being a problem, though it's possible they were destroyed at the end of Friendship is Magic.
    • Throughout Friendship Is Magic, the ponies make peace and became friends with several other creatures throughout the world, including dragons, griffons, changelings, hippogriffs, yaks, and others. However, none of these other creatures are ever referred to in the film, making it unclear what happened to them or if the ponies became divided from them like they did with each other.
    • There is no clue as to if any of the god-level characters from Generation 4 still live. Discord, Celestia, Twilight, and Tirek are fairly explicitly immortal, and elder dragons can live for millennia. Where are they, and if any of the alicorns still live, what happened to cause them to abandon their people? Did they give up their immortality at some point, or lose it when magic ended?
    • Are Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow still statues by this time? If they haven't been destroyed at some point already (which the pegasi of Zephyr Heights likely could have done after the divide, either out of fear of unicorns releasing them or covering up evidence of ponies working together — the biggest instance of which being the fight with this trio — or both), it is possible that the disappearance of magic released them (given Cozy Glow's ritual had broken the "walk on clouds" spell), though if this was the case, they would be powerless and most likely die of old age by G5's time (depending on how immortal Tirek is and whether it depends on magic or Tartarus). Unless the spell was permanent.

Are they misuse as they were never in this movies story to being with and/or sufficient connection to the particular story it was telling? And/or are these more Fridge/Headscratchers?

I intend to move the Snarl to Error if nothing else. Any objections to moving them to Fridge/Headscratchers instead as there is still the possibility this will be explained in the upcoming series?

Windigos may have some merit on WHTTM due to circumstances being fitting for their return, but others fit a lot shakier. Various critters: they presumably still exist but got just as if not moreso isolationist as the ponies themselves, there's no doubt we'll see them explored in G5 series over time. Sealed villains: maybe dead, maybe still sealed, but no reason to assume status quo change without more details.

The only really solid fit I'd say is for the alicorns as they are supposedly protectors and guides of the realm so their absence is notable. Though they'd probably be addressed in the upcoming series, it feels fine to keep the entry in the meantime.

Speaking of the upcoming series, should, the Error/Snarl entries be moved/removed the series is likely to address them as well?

The Windigos may be more Uncertain Doom as they were hit by a supercharged Elements of Harmony presumably stronger than the friendship that merely held them at bay. As for Tirek, Cozy and Chrysalis, their fate was stated/portrayed as permanent and not done throughout the Elements which allows it to be undone.

So should WHTTM be limited to the presumably immortal Twilight, Celestia, Luna, and Discord (Cadance and Flurry never showed the signs of agelessness) along with the other races (which would include dragons bypassing the question of if they are that long lived) as they're the the one we'd expect to still be around?

That Mouse entry is jumping the gun. Of course they're not going to cover every piece of G4 lore in a 90-minute runtime, and we already know there's a series coming.

I'll replace the Mouse entries with the opening where Sunny and Argyle ask why the pony tribes aren't friends anymore as that's brought up in the work but remains unresolved in it as secondary to the conflict/resolution but may be addressed later.

I'll also remove the continuity error/snarl entries for the same jumping the gun likely to be addressed later unless I hear anything.

Update: also asked MLP cleanup.
