Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

I think it would count if it was surprising when something is realistic when previous instances were more fantastical/unrealistic. If the moments don't follow the expected unrealistic results, then it might count.
SING TO ME, LEND ME THE SONG OF BLASPHEMYThat's what I was thinking. Like I said a LOT of examples got cut and the reasoning said some of the examples might need to be moved over to Fridge Brilliance. However the cut examples weren't moved.
Edited by NKgamerWe have a cleanup thread for Surprisingly Realistic Outcome
. You can ask in that thread about the examples that got cut.

Yes, I will admit that I'm one of the Tropers whose example got cut but in the Pokemon examples a ton of examples got cut for 'being realistic but not surprising'. Thing is, in some cases the result is surprising due to the series in which the example takes place. How does one determine if something is both realistic AND surprising without using one's own bias?
