I remember seeing a still or You Tube thumbnail that had a castle. From what I remember, it was an outside area at night, but the walls were illuminated. I think there might have been people in the area as well.
I don't care. These all meet the general criteria and have pages on TV Tropes:
It doesn't appear to be any of these, I'm afraid. I appreciate you compiling that list, that really means a lot.
After doing some more digging into films of that time period, the 1953 Knights of the Round Table movie seems to have a similar look to what little I remember, in that it was based around a kingdom or maybe even a certain king. I'm not even sure if it was a war movie or just a historical drama at this point. Either way, thanks for the help so far.
I don't care.

I'm looking for an old film that I unfortunately don't have much information on, but I'll do my best to narrow it down: I'm fairly certain it was British, it was from either the 1950's or 60's, and from what I remember some kind war or drama film based on true events, possibly set in the middle ages or some other similar time period. I'm also pretty sure it wasn't a super well-known film, certainly not something that would regularly pop up in "Top 5-15" lists.
I came across this film when I saw it on Turner Classic Movies' schedule late last year. I thought it looked interesting, but I quickly forgot about it afterward. I unfortunately didn't think to add it to my IMDB or Letterboxd watchlists, either. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Note: It also wasn't The Lion in Winter.
