Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Ordeaux26 is the one responsible for most of the bi to lesbian edits, but even the article they cite says it is deliberately unconfirmed — she was gonna be a lesbian but they were unable to get the word in, and the writers decided to leave it open to interpretation to let her be relatable to bi people too.
(He also claimed her one-episode crush on Hugh was debunked in the article but I didn’t see it even mentioned at all? Unless I missed something.)
"Likes girls" / "sapphic" might be the best compromise here.
Edited by mightymewtron I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Didn't Ordeaux get forum banned recently for blowing up in the CM thread?
Works That Require Cleanup Of Complaining | Troper Wall^^ Oh sorry. I thought Ordeaux was creating problems. I apologize.
Works That Require Cleanup Of Complaining | Troper WallI changed the wording on this particular page to "got a canon girlfriend" which is the most objective thing possible.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I'm not being pedant. While all of you were discussing about the wording of The Loud House example, no one (not even Mightymewtron after making the edit) realized that the Casagrandes example was listed as a lone sub-bullet entry under Loud House. You're going to need something better than shifting the blame towards a typo of mine (and being gratuitously rude in the process) if you want to disregard a secondary problem that was present in the example presented in this query.
135 -> 180 -> 273 -> 191 -> 188 -> 230 -> 300 -> 311Look, I agree that the indentation should've been fixed ages ago, but this isn't the time or place. Right now you're starting to derail the original question.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallSo, the issue raised in this query has been resolved, and it can be locked now.
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.I didn't fix the indentation because I wasn't looking for it, plus I wasn't sure what exactly our policy was on listing direct spinoffs beneath the source material. I'm pretty sure I was on my phone and just made that small edit to stop the back-and-forth on the page.
(And for the record, a bunch of editors fighting over the correct terminology for an LGBT character does tend to be more of an issue than indentation, because the former issue risks getting more heated and personal.)
Edited by mightymewtron I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.^ For the record, I think our policy is just to bunch it under a franchise title and have each work be a subbullet. If possible.

Oh boy, another edit war over whether an explicitly queer character is bi or gay in particular!
Technically no one individual has violated our Edit War policies yet by changing it twice, but there has been a series of edits on Watched It for the Representation over whether The Loud House character Luna should be referred to as bisexual or a lesbian.
We don't go to this fandom, but skimming the show's cleanup thread
, a clear answer might not actually exist.
Currently considering sidestepping the whole issue by just saying "likes girls".
