There's this VHS animated film that I need to know the name of. Even though I almost memorized the summary, IMDB search and forum was of no help. It has no fantastical elements, not very comedic and had art quality of 90's Disney.
In a british/french city, starting with a scene of family taking a photo at the autumn park, the parent leave somewhere and leave their two children to a hired maid.
Soon two bandits go for the kids, and nanny KO them using an umbrella like spring from the stairs. Then they decided to go look for the parents and thugs follow them.
There's this scene on the train where the girl's foot hurts, so the nanny suggests putting a piece of newspaper into the shoe.
The co arrives in a snowy region. They go through the forest and nanny says "you'll freeze sooner if you go slowly". They find a circus, rent a hot air balloon and descend into an ice cave where the parents were.
