Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
It was changed by Underlying Cause in an edit with no edit reason given. I agree that the old wording is better, because the new wording lacks the death connotations Trope Epitaph entries are supposed to have.
I got a rock for Halloween. That needs to have its original description restored. If they try to edit that again, then that's an edit war.
Also refer to this link when restoring.
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔I didn't know that Kid Amid the Chaos was about a kid all alone in a major emergency situation. I had no idea that Trope Epitaph talked about how old tropes/trope names "died." But I already know that cut tropes can come back at any time, but that the Permanent Red Link Club is for tropes that will never come back.
I'll be over on DeviantArt if you need me."Epitaph" refers to the inscription on a tombstone, and Trope Epitaph is meant to resemble a trope "graveyard," hence why so many examples discuss means of death.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

On the rename thread for Kid Amid the Chaos (renamed from Crying Little Kid), the epitaph "Lost forever amid the chaos" was decided. However, someone changed it to "Rescued from the chaos", despite someone on the thread pointing out that that phrase doesn't really work when it's meant to be about death.
