Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
1) Ideally, if an entry doesn't explain what's so horrible about the work, it's basically a Zero-Context Example.
2) We typically do add notes if an entry is edit-warred over. I believe we had to add a note about not adding the Pokemon Unite trailer or a Nintendo Mini-Direct just because they both got so much backlash, for example. We don't add a note for every entry that's removed but usually you can check the page history to see discussion.
3) The wiki does not like excessive Bold Inflation because it's often a form of Word Cruft, and it should be cut down to avoid entries getting too emotional. SBIH is on Darth Wiki and is thus more lenient, but entries shouldn't be obnoxiously aggressive there either.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

The SBIH subpages have always been some of my favorites on the site (when properly used, anyway), but I do have a few things to say.
- A consistent pet peeve I have with entries is that many of them use meaningless comparisons in place of elaboration (e.g. "a Cliché Storm plot that makes Hurricane Katrina look like a light breeze" and the like), expecting the reader to Take Our Word for It, leaving me unable to tell just what went so wrong. Should there be some sort of elaboration requirement?
- I do believe that removed entries should be listed at least in commented-out form; I recently had an edit reverted on the basis that the work in question (Sonic Gather Battle) had already previously been removed, something which I wasn't aware of beforehand. I feel that putting a work and a clarification for why it isn't there (e.g. "%%Sonic Gather Battle: Removed due to the reason for its infamy being largely not tied to the game itself.") would potentially save a lot of redundant edit reversions.
- What's the wiki policy on Bold Inflation? I don't see anything about it in the text formatting rules, and I notice it as a problem in far more pages than just SBIH (though it tends to be especially prevalent in SBIH).
