When you find yourself trying to remember a show (or any works) that's on the tip of your tongue but just out of reach, come here - the collective brain of the TVTropes community can probably help. The part with the "running past the end of one side and coming back on the other one" might come from an endless loop they play on the channel (Ki Ka) when the official broadcast time is over (it's a kids channel).
One of the loops has Bernd being forced to act as the "chillout coach" of the "Ki Ka lounge", and he tries to get out of that job. Other loops feature parodies of various German shows and the infamous call-in TV quizzes.
Sanity is for the weak

There's this weird... animation/puppet show-ish thing I saw once on vacation in Denmark years ago. The main character was this weird sponge-like guy(I think he was supposed to be a sponge, at least, he might also have been a block of cheese or something, but he was a yellow square. And no, it wasn't Spongebob.) Most of it was him running around, saying various things. The scenes I remember in particular was him running past the end of a side of the screen and coming back on the other one, ending up in him leaning through one of the ends, with his other half on the other side. (I'm bad at explaining) Also, another scene had a fly in it. This fly crushed some of the screen(as in, you could see a "crack" in it) which made the sponge-guy run away. Now and then, there were these "backstage"-ish scenes with a few other characters, one of which was a female animal of some kind who I think was either pink or orange(or maybe light brown).
Anyone know? I'd like to see this again just for the hell of it.
