Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Most of the time, works are expected to be Red Linked, even if they don't have a page. When it comes to P5 cuts, they cannot be redlinked. If the example doesn't contain the sort of content that got the work cut, then the example can stay with the name of the work not linking to our cut article.
Also, unprivated as this is not a wiki security matter. This is information that other editors need to know as well.
Edited by crazysamaritan Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Given this is a trope that likely attracts that sort of content, maybe we should take these entries to the lewdness cleanup
? I mean, the Boys Empire entry says it's shotacon and describes the sex between him and his sister and mother.
I think by the logic given, the Boys Empire example should be cut for sure. I would also agree that the lewdness cleanup thread might want to take a look through the example pages for Brother–Sister Incest, because yeah, this would be the kind of trope that is likely to attract that kind of content. Doing a quick scroll and there are a few more on that 1 page alone that likely need to be reviewed: Eden's Bowy, Onii-chan Control, Mahou Shounen Majorian, etc.
Follow up: So the Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru example would stay since it's not descriptive of explicit P5 violating content and the work itself doesn't seem to be just outright porn/hentai. But Bloods: Inraku no Ketsuzoku 2 is just porn/hentai. Even though the description on the example page doesn't contain any P5 violating content (so far as I know), would the fact that it's about a P5 violating work make it worthy to get cut?
Edited by amathieu13^ The example can stay if it's inexplicit. I called out Boys Empire as the example context is the same material that presumably got the page cut (shota porn).

So I know the P5 system exists for us to report any works that seem to violate it in order to get the work cut. But what do we do (if anything) about cross-wicked examples using the cut work?
I ask this because I was on the Brother–Sister Incest example page for Anime & Manga https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/BrotherSisterIncest/AnimeAndManga
and I noticed some non-hyperlinked examples, specifically for Boys Empire, Bloods: Inraku no Ketsuzoku 2, and Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru. I read the examples over, did some light googling to confirm my suspicions, and yeah all three works are P5 violations and were likely cut in the past.
My question is: should these examples still exist or should they also be removed? If it's the latter, how do I go about doing so since the p5 forum seems to be exclusively about focusing on Works Pages.
