Agree about the Narm entry.

Epileptic Trees seems to have become "any kind of frequent speculation".

Yeah that's not Narm. No one's laughing.

How again is Epileptic Trees supposed to be different than Wild Mass Guessing enough to justify the existence of one over the other?

I don't know about Epileptic Trees but Narm is definitely misused.

So, having not seen the movie but just from general discourse I think they both could apply?

For the narm, I think it could be narrowed down to the line "Smelling my pheromones prevents you from committing violence against me." There's... nothing Fridge there. That's just unintentionally funny.

For epileptic trees... honestly I don't know what this is. So it's just a WMG that a lot of people share? In that case, an entry about many people speculating on how the real Taskmaster could still exist in the universe makes sense as it's something I've heard about.

The entry doesn't explain it, then. Eye-rolling from fans is common "thing falls flat" misuse. From what I've seen, negative viewer reactions were kind of like, "Uhh, that doesn't make sense", not "That's unintentionally funny". Even a nitpick/criticism thread on Reddit had surprisingly few mentions.

I'll make us an Epileptic Trees thread in Trope Talk.
