Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
That doesn't really sound like gender dysphoria to me. Gender dysphoria is generally when someone feels that they are a certain gender and feel that their body, expected roles, and/or the way others percieve them does not match this gender.
From how you've described her, it seems Raquel doesn't actually feel like she's male, but either wishes she had all of the privileges men and boys are afforded or has been socialized to believe that men are inherently better that women and thus thinks lesser of her gender.
Edited by BlueFeatherInternalized Categorism would be the one, yes. Since making this thread I also found I Am What I Am, which fits for the ending.

I considered Trans Tribulations as a potential trope to add to The Yellow Bag since Tropes Are Flexible, but felt the need to ask first.
For context, the main character Raquel isn't transgender but does deal with gender dysphoria, with one of her big wishes being that she was born a boy instead of a girl (due to society treating men much better). By the end of the story, however, she grows to love herself and gets rid of that wish.
