Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help. It's not for everything, though. Strictly speaking, they're not wrong that there's a Double Standard about violence versus sexual content being considered NSFW, it's just one that exists about western society as a whole and they're being a dick about it along with trying to right great wrongs.
TV Tropes is not the place to try to to fix this double standard.
Edited by Larkmarn^ That's exactly my problem with Exxolon. They're being rude by straight up accusing me of having an agenda which I don't.
Also they seems to have a Single-Issue Wonk when it comes to sex/nudity links I think.
Edited by BubblepigI don't know if it's a Single-Issue Wonk cuz they're seemingly not on the site just to wonk on this. I think it's just a standard wonk that they brought up with no reason to do so and seemingly no understanding of why we have these standards.
Edited by mightymewtronOh ,sorry about that. Well anyway, should we summon Exxolon here?
Edited by BubblepigThis also isn't the first time they made a fuss about policy because they personally disagree with it. See here
.
Oh, really? Not surprised. Can someone pm Exxolon?
Are you not able to do so?
Edited by mightymewtron^I can't face him because I'm afraid that he would become hostile towards me because I reported him.
Edited by BubblepigIf you think he'll be hostile then maybe we shouldn't bring him here at all. Though I don't quite know if he will be hostile.
^ I'm sorry. You're right. I just want him to explain himself why he's acting this way.
He'll explain himself in Edit Banned.
Oh, my. Didn't know that he's already suspended today. Anyway, thank you Mod.

Exxolon. A troper who complains about the "double standard" of sex/nudity and violences.
I was reporting on my previous query about NSFW links in two webcomics which is not allow in here. So the query seems to resolved until this one troper by the name Exxolon starts complaining of how links to violent content is ok but sex is not
. Then they accused me of editing with agenda
when I said sex scene that have nudity is a problem (I admit that I explained poorly, I meant the weblink that have nudity is not allowed on this wiki) and violence isn't NSFW unless they showed real life image of graphic stuff (Which I admit gory stuff in fiction isn't allowed but I forgot to explain it). It's hard to explain but basically, we just following the policy and we allow to talked about work with sex/nudity but not showing them in links. But this troper seems to focus on their stranded, not TV Tropes's. This is probably the only time I reported a trooper for their behavior.
