Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Yeah there's no such thing as a troper making an "Executive decision", not even if they're the original creator (The Fic May Be Yours, but the Trope Page Is Ours, etc) which this person doesn't seem to be. Might be worth a tap on the shoulder to see what they were thinking.
Edited by Dirtyblue929I think they are simply using "executive" to mean "unilateral", a common enough misuse today. Take this to Image Pickin'to handle.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Looking at the page's full history, it looks like Sana Naryon did a lot of work on this character page, so I'm wondering if there might be some degree of page ownership going on here... is there a specific notifier I should send, or should I just send them a PM mentioning this conversation (or bring it up in the page's discussion thread, or bring it up in Image Pickin' and let them know about it... this is my first time doing something involving page images and I don't want to get it wrong).
Edit: not actually a double-post. Teach me to ATT at work!

I happened to be looking at Puffin Forest and noticed that while a lot of the characters seem to be using images from Puffin's videos, certain characters from pre-existing D&D content use art from D&D books, and one of those images is captioned "This troper made the executive decision to use official art" (judging by the history, the troper in question is Sana Naryon ) Since it looks like those were the initially added images, I assume Image Pickin' would be necessary to change them to pictures of the characters the way they were shown in Puffin's videos, but surely that caption, at least, shouldn't be there.
