IDK anything about pinball manufacturing or if this said forum post is reliable, but we don't categorize films based on when early-review critics got to see it, but by when it was actually released to the public.

Yeah, I don't know how long it takes for pinball machines to go from beginning manufacturing to shipping sales, but I'd be kinda surprised if it was less than a month.

Usually, it takes about a month for the games to start actually arriving to consumers (be they public venues or home owners).

At this point, I'm leaning towards indexing it as a 2020 release (possibly with a note that, while there may have been a couple of machines that made it to people the year before, the vast majority were manufactured and shipped in The New '20s).

It makes sense to me; I feel like this is similar to a work released in Europe at 12:01am on Jan 1, but then released an hour later in North America (which is the previous day/month/year/potentially decade).

If no one has any objections, I will go ahead and perform the move in about a day or so.

Giving this a (very) belated bump for the sake of closure: I removed Stranger Things from Pinball of the 2010s and have requested it be placed on The New '20s on the Locked Pages editing thread.
