Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help. It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread for ongoing cleanup projects.

Not an edit war. For an edit war:

  • you add/remove an example
  • someone else removes/adds that example
  • then you add/remove once again (without discussion or consensus)

If person A adds, person B removes, then you as Person C re-adds, that's technically not an edit war.

Plus, even if you had deleted it previously, you did so with consensus from the thread, therefore when you remove it again, you're doing it to bring it to site policy. If you have consensus from the appropriate thread (which you have), you essentially have Edit War protection since you're doing it at majority request.
