Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Looking through the page, I agree it is a mess. There are a few things in the description I would remove, but I don't think it's overly negative. A lot of the negative tropes are towards the beginning, but that's the luck of the alphabet, further on it has an equal distribution of positive, negative, and neutral tones.
I also think explaining those negative tropes a bit more would provide context and make it appear less, "everything sucks". One of the big problems with the adult content ban was it got rid of NSFW artists and writers, but the porn bots remained and are still a problem to this day.
^ AFAIK, all websites with pages here are troped.
CSP Cleanup Thread | All that I ask for ... is diamonds and dance floors^ That's not true at all. We delete pages that aren't tropeworthy, and we've deleted websites on that basis before.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallThe main tropeworthy parts of Tumblr are the specific blogs and posts hosted on it by a variety of different users, and maybe their April Fools' Day jokes. But the page spends way too much time troping the users as if they are a monolith. I'd prefer it be stripped of examples similar to YouTube.
Edited by mightymewtron I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

I feel like Website.Tumblr has an overly negative feel to it. Most of the tropes seem to talk about how banning adult comment resulted in tons of other problems. It feels like said problems are the focus of the trope page itself.
(Sorry if this isn’t making sense, I’m sleep-deprived.)
