Other than Reality Ensues , where might be situations where a character says things that are true regarding reality, but false in the context of the show? Examples: On an episode of The Xfiles, Mulder and a sheriff are chatting, and Mulder brings up UF Os. The sheriff asks if the FBI investigates them, and Mulder answers no, which is true, but the premise of the show is that they do. On an episode of Criminal Minds, a podcaster confronts Prentiss about her team, the BAU, using an expensive jet and having a hacker regularly break into computer files. She denies both. This is true of the real BAU, but not the fictional one.
