"She?" T's a guy. His avatar is a drawing of himself, by Erica Henderson. He's been represented in the comic, at the beginning of the "Names: A Study Primer," along with Gisele.

Oh god, the history of webcomics debacle. I remember when that hit. I'm amazed he survived the wrath of the Scott Kurtz.
As for today's page...I actually gushed a bit on the forums and no, not because it looks like the end. Strangely, I'd be happy if they got together NOW. Not sure what that says about me
T wrote a book a few years ago on The History of Webcomics. To make a long story short, he wound up pissing off pretty much everyone he profiled in the book (as he mentioned in the interview). In particular, Scott Kurtz raged about it and even vilified him in a PVP comic.
Sorry, I had to dig a little - it's old web drama that isn't CAD related, so its faded somewhat into the mists of time.
But I found a nice Websnark article on it
that's pretty fair to everyone involved, though not all of the links are entirely functional (and all of T's in particular are dead), so at this point I'm working on a half-baked memory of internet drama. The real crux of it came down to:
- He didn't interview Rodney Caston about Megatokyo, at all, before writing about the comic and in particular the break up of the two creators. Rodney Caston was not pleased that his side of the story was essentially left out and naturally the old Mega Tokyo authorship war flared up again. Campbell actually didn't interview a number of the people involved in the book, capping out at 50...which meant a number of people got their stuff in the book that had never been contacted about it.
- The books cover art included characters from many prominent webcomics - without asking for permission. Apparently T wasn't included in the process of the cover art according to him, but many of the comic artists were upset at having their art used without permission (though as it fell under fair use, it IS legal).
- 1 + 2 was enough to enrage Scott Kurtz to screech about it on the PVP blog and draw a strip based on it (though Campbell wasn't in it).
I'm not that surprised the subject of the book is a less than happy one now.
That's her. After P&A found out and bounced her from the group, she ran away from Belleville, moved to Boston, somehow got her parents to surrender their parental rights to her, and now she's crashing with Nancy from Something Positive.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117If I post again in the official P&A forum, I'll probably post something in my rage that'll get me kicked off that forum, so I'll just post this here.

I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117.......OK, woman, what have you heard?
Don't be coy, either; I know it's hard to pick up on tone of voice with the written word, but that post had an air of "I know something you don't know".
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117Hee hee!
No, my dear CEOIII, I don't have access to T's mind. (Which is probably for the best. He wouldn't appreciate it.) I don't know any more of what's coming than any other reader does.
I'm just saying, you should know by now, as someone who's been reading the comic day by day for much longer than I have, that T has been known to throw in unexpected twists at the end.
Also, several people—more than several—on the forum tonight have noted there are already hints that Penny's relationship is not nearly as set in stone as it may appear. Reread the dialogue, paying attention to what Penny's not saying. To what, in fact, she's cutting off discussion about.
And there are still two strips left. Anything is possible, nothing is true. Yet.
- cautiously rereading the latest strip*
...Tom isn't here. Doesn't mean anything, really, neither is Sara's SO.
"pretty sure"? I dated a girl that did a Bernadette Peters impression at just about every social gathering we went to. You have an SO that does an impression, you should know one way or another if they still do it.
And she did kinda quickly cut off the "what's Tom doing now" discussion, didn't she?
I'm not that hopeful, but I am still hopeful.
(What is with the "holy shit" look on Sara's face, and the "did I do that?" look on Daphne's?)

That's one of T's fatal flaws; clearly he believes in "Show, Don't Tell", but sometimes he forgets the "Show" part.
I swear on my life I typed "he" and not "she". Really. Maybe I'm ill or something.
