There's a general Webcomic Discontinuity page. It could be added there.

I'm not exactly 100% on the latest strip, either, but I don't think fanservice is what Campbell's going for with it. The reactions on the forum, whether pro or con, aren't of the "huh huh drool drool so hawt" variety. Thank heavens.
If anything, it's Fan Disservice.

Yeah, lately I've just sort of lost track of the strip. It's reached the point where I don't really care about it, wouldn't notice it if it was dropped from my reading list, and am more annoyed than amused by the characters. Which basically means I'm only reading now because I have been for nearly five years now.
How long until it ends and I can look away from the trainwreck again?

The end comes August 29, 10PM EST. (There's a coda as well, allegedly, but if you just want to bail after the actual comic, 8/29 is your window.)
Remember the very end of Animal House, with all the little titles everyone had? (My personal fave: Daniel Simpson Day, Whereabouts Unknown. He should've gotten a sequel, IMHO.) Same thing. Essentially, it's an epilogue. Probably a "Where Are They Now?" type thing. (Duane joins a muslim convent, Fred and Stan get married, Lisa becomes the head of the Human Rights Coalition, etc.)
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117These last three weeks have been Mood Whiplash taken Up To Eleven. My God. Gotta hand it to T; he has us just where he wants us.
I'm still optimistic as to a happy resolution of some sort for Penny's and Aggie's relationship, though. And yes, Rebochan, the Fanservice is apparently back. However, I myself consider this a case of Tropes Are Not Bad... not bad at all... um, sorry. Plus, their having this very SRS conversation while in ripped shirts and naked from the waist down strikes me as kind of funny, and that's no doubt intentional.
At this point, I want to just play a clip of Crow T. Robot saying "I'm giving up and looking at the breasts." Though I guess it's the butts here :P
Sadly, being a heterosexual woman, the fanservice is more eye-rolling than pleasing to me. Maybe if I was on board with the ship I could at least have that to keep me happy (like sort of a "hooray, these people who relationship I believe in are consummating it!"), but nein.
Also, I don't know if I'm supposed to take the scene seriously. As you note, it's more comical that they're naked from the waist down. So I guess I should laugh? But the setup doesn't seem like it's going for comedy. So should I be more than just theoretically turned on if I am anything but a heterosexual woman or a gay man?
Maybe if it was Fred's tush.

Untitled Power Rangers StoryJack and Katy-Ann, as of the last we saw them at the end of "July," appear to have worked things out, now that they've got the misunderstanding about Katy-Ann's alleged Incorruptible Pure Pureness sorted.

Both, from what I understand. Alice? Help the rookies out?
Aside: I really wish T wasn't making us twist in the wind with the ship sinking.

So maybe the TV Tropes page should have a Discontinuity entry? "For some fans, Penny And Aggie ended with the "Popsicle War" storyline."
