My point was since Nchink was comparatively grounded in reality preveously so the saga was wroing in being to fantasy driven. Also lindsey's videos had the story as an acessary to the review while linkara has the review secondary to the story? Both Linkara and Lindsey have the story occur at the begining and maybe end of the videos, with nothing happening during Lindseys review and nether does it in Lewis's.Also both have comedic elements at most by the end

The Chick's world has always been more Mundane Fantastic (about the same level as the Critic). And as I've said, the magical elements are secondary to the character flaws that have been coming up. That's the draw of this storyline for me.

I'm reading through the comment on the Tron review, and while there are a few negative comments, there's also a long diatribe from Yeahno that basically boils down to "u mad?"

Wow. Just wow. Is this TGWTG or fucking Game FA Qs?

ETA: Oh wow, and Linkara himself got sucked into the shitstorm. Someone call fandom_wank!

Pfft, Nella hamming it up, Dr. Tease being slightly evil, Chick's bitchy, clueless sociopathy, the puppy's cuteness - there's much funny to be had. <3

Linkara on storylines in reviews:

That's true as well, but that's one reason why we try to do storylines along with the reviews - it gives something a little extra. Sure, it's not always going to have the most brilliant special effects or professional-level fight choreography, but we try to introduce something extra as an added bonus. Besides, Lindsay's actually been doing a better job setting up stuff in the storyline that relates to the reviews (the death parodying Kirk's death in Generations, the resurrection coinciding with Pheonix and Dark Pheonix, the monuments being destroyed reflecting Roland Emmerich's work, evil having dark goth makeup for the Craft, and now this one examining something extremely nerdy as setup for Nella's own nerdy return). Mine tend to be unrelated to the reviews themselves most of the time, with the exception of Silent Hill and the finales of Mechakara and Vyce. XD

Don't have really much to say on this.

I don't feel chick issues (cluelessnes sociopathy) show in this arc.

He did Jaws 3D.

They are different, even though they are both considered Jaws 3.

Or at least, that's what my shoddy memory tells me.

Oh. I see, Jaws 3-D was just removed from continuity, and Universal Studios calls The Revenge the third movie, Discontinuity style

OK. I knew I was at least somewhat right.

It doesn't really matter if Jaws 3D is canon, The Revenge is even worse.

I don't really mind the storyline parts, though they do seem out of place at times. I really liked the Ultimate Warrior crossover, where the review is what makes the plot move forward.

Mousa: I didn't particularly like that one, but that's cause I don't have any great emotional attachment to the muppets. He's not that bad though. At the very least, he covers an interesting demographic, especially with this musical movie series.

Yeah, Music Movies are really good. The newest one was one of the weaker episodes in that series.
