...Wow, I feel better already, Rai.
And yeah, pretty much what Ozzy said.
Yeah, I just... I really wish I was better at giving concrit, instead of just... snapping at people all the time. I know that no one tries to be a bad R Per, but...
Are you not entertained?
YES, I AM!
...
Sorry, I just saw "Am I Evil?" and that Copperhead/Metallica song immediately popped into my head.

You can get what you want and still not be very happy.I think that a problem some people have is that they're used to writing stories on their own instead of doing something collaborative like a roleplay, and thus there's that tendency to do things in a self-contained way instead of focusing on interaction with someone else's characters. Especially if they have something in mind for where they want the story to go. And that's all well and good when producing a solo work, but it's frustrating in a roleplay where character interaction is integral to the story, especially when they make no indication to the other players as to what their ideas are. Fortunately, especially when these people show decent writing skills, it's generally a matter of nudging them in the right direction, encouraging them to share their ideas and interact with the other characters rather than keeping everything mostly between their own characters and leaving everyone in the dark as to what they're doing.
Other people seem to have inexperience writing anything in general, whether it be a story or part of a roleplay, so their ideas will often make little sense and their characters may be flat or cliched, or they'll play a canon character that turns out to be In Name Only. Some of these can be molded a bit, given advice and suggestions on how to develop their characters (again, if they come into the discussion). I've often been concerned that I fit into this category sometimes despite having participated in other roleplays in the past due to my not writing fanfiction or original stories and not being great at coming up with plot ideas (but I think my characters are reasonably decent and interesting.)
The ones who I really worry about are the ones who have little to no experience but somehow seem to think they are great writers... despite having very cliched and overdone plots and flat or cliched or overblown Sue-ish characters. Well, them and the people who don't come into the discussion in general, or the people who despite being given advice and suggestions still refuse to improve even if they say they will.
Sorry for the wall of text.
Stupid doomed timeline......Tried P Ming a player or two. They usually showed up once or twice, but...you get the idea.
I'm probably too polite in my PM...
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.Going to head out for the night pretty soon, even if tomorrow is my "sleep as late as I want to" day. I'm getting tired, and you don't want to see me get crankier than I already am.
Sorry again about earlier. I guess I felt like I was somehow disrespecting the plot that Lemurian came up with for me by not remembering it, when I somehow remember stupid details from way before then like Gina getting a Nepeta hat for her birthday. And that made me feel stupid, and I don't like being seen as stupid, and... yes, I overreacted, I'm sorry.
Stupid doomed timeline...And thus my hastily formed plan to provoke potentially interesting interaction worked...sort of. Really, I don't know if it worked well at all, but...at least it's something compared to just people getting irate over Dee Bunny doing something self-contained.
Seriously, tell me, because I want to know if this is one of those habits I should learn to cull from my roleplaying behavior. I'm worried that using a provocative character to get someone to try and interact with someone other then their own characters could be potentially more mean-spirited then roleplaying.

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Ah, that's good. Just didn't want people to get the impression I was trying to be a dickweed out of spite or anything.
And by the way, Hazama was acting how I believe the best trolls work; Never showing anger, always provoking it, a smooth criminal through and through. Hope that was successful...
Night, Oz.
And goodnight, all. If Dee Bunny doesn't respond in the morn to show she got the message to check the discussion thread, I should send a PM asking her to do so. Least I could do..
