We Are Our Avatars (Discussion)

Welp, I said I'd make it, so here we go! This oughta make it a bit easier to chat about what's going on and conspire with our fellow tropers concerning what's going on in the We Are Our Avatars thread.

Tails will die eventually. Could be a while though. I plan on having Silver there when it happens.

Yeah, it should be a while. There's been a lot of deaths lately...

BTW, I had an idea. How about every time we change avatars, we post it in the first post we play the character? It should make it easier to understand what has happened when we want to recap.

I've had that idea myself.

Used it once, in fact, when I had that Robot Unicorn Attack avatar for all of one post. XD

Also, definitely a good idea to hold off on more deaths. Too Soon, man. I did that silyl Robot Unicorn thing and the silly Metal Gear thing to try and lighten the mood, let's not turn this into some sort of mood roller coaster ride, here.

How about we take it in tuns to post recaps, say every 10 pages? That should remove any need for Recap plz? whenever someone is away for too long.

We could put them in here, to remove the need for putting a ton of OOC stuff in the actual thread. If someone went all recap plz, we could just be all like discussion thread plz. Provide a link, even.

Also, I never have that problem myself, because I always read everything that's happened while I was gone.

Okay, I finally decided to get back into We are Our Avatars, but things have progressed fast, and I am lost as to what the hell the plot looks like now. So, as I mentioned back in the actual thread, I would very much like a summary to get my head back in the game.

So.

I am going to bring in another character, it's another Xbot but it's not Bit (and I have a different avatar for it). I don't really know where I'm going with the character yet, and I just kind of want to play it by ear.

Any objections?

I'm going to want to bring Ozzy back in sometime.

I hope I'm not too overpowered as myself in there now since I kept randomly getting abilities thanks to various plot events (like I just started out being bored immortal, then I gained the PSI and lightning stuff, then I kind of accidentally wished to be able to warp reality. 'Though I have decided that on the latter I really can't control it very well so when I do decide to use it, it doesn't really do quite what I want. So instead of using it to go home I probably went off dimension-hopping randomly. And thus I doubt I'll use it much. I don't use the PSI attacks much either since I don't really care for the fighting.)

Anyway, objections to this? (Not sure I'll do it with this exact avatar, even though technically it's supposed to be me.)

Suggestion: Maybe we could introduce our characters here and give a bit of a rundown so that the other players know what they're dealing with?

In that vein;

This is Elise, she is an Xbot, but to be perfectly clear, she is not Bit, looks nothing like Bit and more importantly acts nothing like Bit. See, Bit was cute and cuddly, Elise is fucking insane. She has a plasma sword in her arm, and a small pistol in her other arm.

Yes, meaning that if you post with your current avatar, you would be Andrew Jackson. Hopefully, we can get someone to play Theodore Roosevelt and have the two most badass presidents team up.

Yeah, Me Too! I have no idea what's going on, but hopefully I'll catch on.

Basically, E.H. Grayson is the one currently running the show. We're on the planet of the race who created the fictional world he came up with, and it's controlled by an AI that's pretty much completely insane. Also, there is a gigantic bio-engineered creature that eats planets out there somewhere.

OK, so right now, I'm R Ping two characters:

First, the one I was roleplaying first; Osaka. She's pretty much the same as she is in the show (that's how I'm trying to get her to act, anyway), except she has psychic powers. Yes, it's a little awesome.

Second comes Lip. I didn't have too much to base her personality off of, so I pretty much just made hers out of whole cloth. She's very sweet and just most of the time, but at times she can slip into Deadpan Snarker territory (but only where it would be funny. She attacks enemies by dropping blocks on their head, which are formed by matching four or more panels (which she can pull out of hammerspace), or by forming a combo.

Well, this oughta be clear to anyone who's following the thread, but I'm playing Youmu Konpaku, one of my personal favorite Touhou characters. I've played her before.

I think I'm gonna switch back to the Big Daddy and Little Sister for a while.
