"How do you get on the motorbike to crash into the door in Grasstown?"
you don't use it. look for any other doors you haven't looked in yet. if you've already met the Balrog, examine the thing he landed on.
yeah, a while back, this very thread inspired me to get Cave story. I'm very impressed. it's seriously perfectly thought out in just about every aspect. it's not too easy or too hard, either. I've finished the main game, but haven't got past the bonus level yet. also, Last battle has got to be one of my favourite final boss themes ever, if not one of my favourite themes ever. it's also a PC game that runs fast. something rare for me.
yeah, I like it, yeah.
You mean the one with the treads on top and bottom, rushing back and forth, spitting those green things in circles when it stops? Yeah, you mostly just have to be light on your feet, then get underneath when it stops and smack it with the Blade or whatever as rapid-fire as you can. And dodge ze missiles.
Starbound: That's a judgment call there. The level three knife is easy to use and takes out the fish missiles and other projectiles pretty easily, but most experienced players swear by the level 2 knife because it can do far more damage per second if you mash it. I'd go with 2 honestly, if you're stuck.
That's a weird sounding bug. The game's script is supposed to have "clear text" instructions whenever there's dialogue longer than three lines, and in mods I've seen that didn't the earlier lines simply get scrolled off the top of the screen rather than overlapping.
Funny, everything that everyone's said I've already done. I was using the level 2 blade in the fight.
Only one explanation left: I suck.
Edit: Why does it disturb you, GMH? It's just a cropping of the Hot Skitty-on-Wailord Action pic.

Why don't you get a health refill after fighting the Core?
That just makes the Water Level even more of a Scrappy Level! AAAAAARGH!

Protip: The water level contains a lot of hidden health items. Try shooting into alcoves in parts without enemies; there'll be a squeaky sound effect and a visible effect if you hit an item-hiding-object, and if you shoot it enough times it'll break and leave behind a heart. (Note: You need to hit specific tiles, not walls. Nothing's hidden in the walls).
These exist in smaller numbers in a few other places. The only other I know of is the first "indoor" area in the Revisited Egg Corridor, the one with two presses. There's one or two hearts in the bottom left area, and since there's a door right there it can be regenerated by leaving and coming back.
I never found the water level very hard, but I found the music annoying.
"One has to wonder about Pixel with that one. What exactly happens there?"
For more like that, consult the work of NIGORO (formerly known as GR 3).

Because its suggested concept went from "cute kitten" to "cute kitten having sex".
