That weapon and armor set being showcased in the hammer video are wild. Real Frankenstein vibes.
On that note, I've focused on a different weapon in every game. This go 'round, I'm trying the hammer. My second weapon will depend heavily on whether or not my brother focuses on a bladed weapon.

Rise was the first game where I actually tried out the Hunting Horn. I couldn't really get the hang of it when I first got into the series, and I think that discouraged me from trying for some time.
I liked the changes that Rise brought for the Hunting Horn, and while it's not my most commonly used weapon, it's one I've used quite a bit.
I still haven't really used the Lance and Gunlance all that much, since they don't quite mesh well with my usual style of fighting monsters. I have tried the Gunlance a couple times against weaker monsters to try and acclimate myself, but I'm certainly not ready to use it against the tougher monsters.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."I got into Rise fairly late — shortly before Sunbreak was released.
Might be interesting to get into this one from the start.
The only weapons I really vibed with in Rise were the Long Swords and Hammers. Maybe I'll try the Great Swords or something else this time.

Disgusted, but not surprisedHmm, looks like DB still retains some good aerial maneuverability. Vertical jump spin is still here at least.
