.....wait.
Really?
So he considers these sins to be real sins?
That's a little unnerving. Then again, considering how...trivial most of it is, I get the feeling even if he's serious, the movies where he barely finds anything to complain about are probably still seen as being good movies.
He also did a Cinema Wins for The Rise of Skywalker, which I like (even if I'm as fond of TROS as everyone else) because at this point it's super easy to complain about TROS so seeing someone find good things about it came off as more interesting to me.
One Strip! One Strip! It's the same shit with Doug Walker, they hide their videos behind "just joking" disclaimers when in their "out of character" videos, they espouse the same opinions.
Damn. I liked Cinema Sins.
Edit: I liked Cinema Wins more, because as I said, finding things you like even about bad stuff takes a lot more effort than finding every body thing about something good.
But I guess now I have to decide if I want to separate the work from the artist, which it feels like I need to do every fucking day now.

One Strip! One Strip!I have a question.
Did the Japanese dub of Avatar: The Last Airbender continue after Nickelodeon Japan shut down?
There is a completed Japanese dub for Avatar. Legally, they're apparently available on the Japanese versions of Netflix and Amazon.
Also, for reference, we already have dedicated threads for general Avatar content. I point this out as you might have an easier time getting eyeballs.

Hate to butt in on this, but I checked on this last night and I'm pretty sure Cinema Wins and Cinema Sins are from completely different people.
Like, Wins is from Lee Boucher and Sins is from Jeremy Scott and Chris Atkinson.
Just out of curiousity, who would you tropers say is in contention for snarkiest cartoon character of all time?
The sarcastic bald guy with the moustache (apparently named Raphael) from The Simpsons. Or Comic Book Guy from the same show.
She/they. Hirrus Clutumnus is my comfort characterI am very tired of every new cartoon coming out getting compared to Rick & Morty and Gravity Falls.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Rattrap from Beast Wars is a strong contender too.
Astro Boy: Reboot, the French adaptation of the manga character that's been in Development Hell, is finally back! Under the new helming director Thomas Astruc (Miraculous Ladybug), the series will be Shifted to CGI with assistance from Method Animation.
52 episodes, 26 minutes each, is the confirmed production order.
For reference, here's the original pitch animation back when it was stylized 2D animation:

So Mercury Filmworks (Hilda, Mickey Mouse 2013, Penn Zero: Part Time Hero, Tangled: The Series) is hard at work on their first full-length animated movie: Once Our Land!
Set in 1830's Europe, Once Our Land tells the story of 11-year-old Ingrid; a young girl forced to fend for herself in a ravaged city overrun by fearsome beasts from another world. It's in this cruel "past-apocalyptic" world where trust is in short supply that Ingrid forges an unlikely friendship with Fritz, a grizzled, old, eye-patched warrior with an unexpectedly eccentric personality. Together, Fritz and Ingrid embark on a dangerous journey to rid the city they love of the cruel beasts, and to learn to trust again. The movie is described as "part light survival horror, part action, with strong heart and a healthy dose of levity-bringing humor, Once Our Land is an endearing tale of trust and friendship set against the backdrop of eldritch horror; a story about standing united in the face of monstrous adversity."
I would post the trailer, but A, it's a Vimeo embed and B, Mercury Filmworks doesn't exactly have the trailer in their Vimeo page. Fortunately, the Animation Magazine article about the movie has the trailer, so you can go here for it.
Cool news is that the director, Peter Ricq, is also the author of the book it's based on. You don't see that every day!
The really-not-cool news is that, according to his Twitter, the director appears to be an advocate for NFTs.
But then, past experience has told us it's not fair to demonize a movie because one of them is a bad seed, so separate art from artist?
I liked Toy Story 4 but I found it the least meaningful of the movies, emotionally. I liked that Woody was reunited with Bo, but Toy Story 3 had such a natural, impactful ending. Really felt like things ought to have ended there.
x8 Daria? Squidward?
Shit.
I just found out there's an episode of the original G.I. Joe where Cobra puts on a Telethon.
It's literally called Cobrathon. I watched the whole thing just to see if it was for real.
That's just some ridiculous shit.
One Strip! One Strip!I think they ran out of ideas

New theme music also a boxThe writers or Cobra?
One Strip! One Strip! That was the right answer.
One Strip! One Strip!Didja see the one where Cobra starts a rock band? Cold Slither (really Zartan and his Dreadnoks)? The actor who voiced Zartan said that one was his favorite episode, as he could see Zartan really getting into being a rock star.

I wonder how Fantastic Planet looks on blu-ray.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. The same as it did on VHS, but sharper?
It seems that It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown will not be airing on PBS this year.
The reason is that the original creator actually takes the shit seriously. They aren't jokes to him.
