Oh yeah, I'd partially forgotten about those.
But still, she didn't react nearly as bad when the Lusty Argonian Maid showed up:
Maybe she's reacting so badly now because she remembered how much she suffered when Lusty Argonian Maid came into the picture — which includes the sub-arc starting from here

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.More elaborate hats? No problem!
You know, this last strip
reminded me that I never quite got (or maybe I simply forgot) why Engie is so upset with Jo regarding Minette, starting from here
.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Because she's jealous that he didn't try to get her put into the game.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Ah, right, I get it. She feels that he's treating her like The Un-Favourite for no reason.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. The inevitable result of player-created content
I'll admit it now, it's only after I read this strip that I realized that the Call of Duty games conspicuously lacked any female character models of any kind, whether military or civilian.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I was specifically talking about player characters and actual members of the squads that accompany and fight with them during the campaign, as well as enemy characters and multiplayer game models.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Woah bigger comic all the sudden and now Engie wears black
You should read the last arc, starting from here
and ending here.
Engie's disillusioned with BLU after Soldier gets Spy to spy on his own team, but isn't willing to fight BLU by going over to RED. So, she's going to just be a spectator.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I'm not surprised she's wearing black now; just wasn't expecting it to melt into the normal comic. Which is a lot bigger now.
my drawing blog ya'll UPDATES 10 TIMES A MONTH WOW, THIS IS STRAIGHT UP MUH SOGGY KNEESo I'm thinking of giving DOTA 2 a try just so I'll get more jokes. I checked Steam and saw that it was F2P, so I guess I have nothing to lose...
...but I'll ask what everybody thinks of it anyway, since it seems to be one of those Love It or Hate It things judging by the comments I've read.

Don't bother. I've stopped reading this comic because of the endless DOTA jokes. If you're masochistic and enjoy people screaming at you for not being an elite master like they are, then maybe you'd enjoy DOTA.
Try League Of Legends, the mechanics are better, the roster has character and style, and it's...less...toxic than DOTA. DOTA took the credit for creating a genre and that genre is like 85% rancid assholes. There's fewer in LoL and they're trying to clean it up.
Also, to be fair, there was an probably an equal amount of people screaming back when the comic was "about" Team Fortress 2 and the daily update wasn't TF 2.

But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you.I get the TF2 jokes. Aside from DOTA, it's a well-written and funny comic. I just got tired of nothing but updates for a game I despise. It's easier to just abandon it then to endlessly complain about the subject matter.

Poor Minette.
