Cloning Blues? Or is this like the 2 Beatrices in EP 6?

Clearly, the appearance of the new Tenshi means that Kanade was schizophrenic during her life, and when she died, the both the voice in her head and herself each got a different body, since they were sorta kinda two different people.
The new Kanade is the Lawful Evil Knights Templar voice in her head, which is only acting now because regular Kanade is not doing her job as "Tenshi."
I have to say, I don't really like Naoi's Heel–Face Turn. He went from credible villain to yet another comic relief character way too fast.
On the other hand, the stuff with Otonashi and Kanade * was cute and that ending was interesting. I just hope that the new Angel ends up lasting longer as a villain than Naoi did...

The Philosopher-King ParadoxWith the latest character addition, I'd like to say a few things:
1)Is it just me or the newcomer one has reddish eyes, while the one who was, ahem, befriended, has amber eyes?
2)Since it happened, can we call it... oh, never mind, disregard this.
3)Can we assume that the world somehow Spawns Tenchis for watching over it? And if so, and if the newcomer becomes a prez, I think we can safely assume that NPCs have simply relegated their safekeeping to this Defence Mechanism.

Otonashi's backstory and death were pointless. But maybe that was the point. I don't know. Maybe not, it was his character. He's a guy who really devoted his entire life towards other people, first his sister, than once she passed away, devoted it towards a goal of being able to help other people, and in such a way I don't think really ever was able to live life for himself. Even at the end, it's still for everybody else.
And even in the current world, he's really still living for everybody else and not really himself. That's probably his hurdle to overcome.
I think at the end of the series there's not even going to be an antagonist. Someone compared it to Evangalion, and in that way I think they're correct. It really is a show about emotional baggage, and overcoming/learning to live with as such.
Now, I could be surprised again. Who knows, with how...off the wall things are. But that's what it appears to me.
Democracy is the process in which we determine the government that we deserveNaoi ... is so cute ♥♥♥
but the drama seems so forced. I feel bad for Tenshi though, and I'm glad Otonashi befriended her. I wish there was more legit romance in this show though, instead of speculative shipping. But it's so plot heavy that I don't think there's any room for it.
And the SSS's antics played for laffs behind their contrived backstories is seriously weird. Mood whiplash. Geh. Why do I love this show.
I'm so curious about this new Tenshi D:
I think Otonashi's backstory jived with the way it was used; his life was basically useless, and right when he was about to change that, he dies in a train crash.
My FF.net accountSo yeah, finally got around to looking at some of the voice actors. What was the first thing I discovered? Otonashi is Izaya. WOW. That is a serious case of Mood Whiplash right there.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI'm not convinced Otonashi's death is quite.. real.
If you remember from a few pages back, it's entirely possible that this story is really set in some sort of coma ward.. well, it *is* Key.
Meanwhile, Otonashi wanted to be some kind of doctor.
He may have been in a train crash, but I wouldn't be too surprised if he got out of it relatively unharmed; then, later, he joined/started a program trying to cure coma patients. The hypnosis didn't give him all his memories back, but hypnosis in general can't make you do anything you don't want; he's got a good reason for suppressing the later memories.
Harmonics, yes. Hopefully it was a simple mistake that created the clone. After all that, it'd just be a sucker punch to reveal that Angel's still an antagonist.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialOh hey, isn't Zetsubou no Carnival a track from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei?
BTW guys, I think that we will have some giant and permanent Mood Whiplash at the end of the series, in which, the world where they live in will fade away or something.
Dear TV Tropes Forums... I'm sorry for leaving you for Gaia. Now I left Gaia and have an affair with Tumblr. Love, me.If not that, Bittersweet Ending or Downer Ending, or possibly Earn Your Happy Ending. Jun Maeda is good at this.

I see... then we have pretty different outlooks. I'm kind of simple so that might be why I can't see it.
