We now have release dates: Wednesday for Xbox Live, Friday for Steam and the 30th for PSN.

I now go by Graf von Tirol. From what I've heard of the update, it actually triggered some dialogue which beforehand we haven't heard in-game, as well as a couple animations.
At least what I could gather from taking a look at the Telltale forum.
EDIT: Or it could be relating to Direct X issues... which would in turn trigger before-then unheard-ingame dialogue.

I now go by Graf von Tirol.I just checked, and my game hasn't required an update. Or is this only if you've already pre-ordered the second one?
By the way, I'm considering pre-ordering this but don't know anyone to gift the first game to. It's only a few days, so unless you really want it I might just wait til release.

Humorously enough, I'm actually familiar with all the games Brock, Claptrap, Ash, Sam (... & Max), and G La DOS appear in. But knowing that SAM is going to appear in it? Hell. YES. Can't wait for what our fudgie pop lovin' dog has to say!
I'm also sure that there could be DLC for PN 2. Besides, you have five characters you can play with. If it's not a hint that you could buy more characters to play with, then I don't know what will happen.
GO AHEAD .... MR. JOEHSTUR .......Oh, so Ash has traded up from chainsaw attached to a stump to a BIONIC AAAAARM.
And Max is in the mix again, though probably only as an occasional feature of Sam's lines.
And GLADOS is her usual self.
"80% of you will lose today. And 100% of you will eventually die. Math is fun."
Question, though. She does know that Claptrap is also a robot, right? Not a finite-lifespan meatbag?
I have a message from another time...Hey, wait. the XBLA version is OUT NOW. Anyone playing?

The chips are down and the ante is up in this sentence already bursting with poker clichés! Take the fifth seat in Poker Night 2, at a table featuring Claptrap (Borderlands 2), Brock Samson (The Venture Bros.), Ash (Army of Darkness) and Sam (Sam and Max series). So play to win because winning unlocks unique skins and heads to use in Borderlands 2 and exclusive avatar items! Your dealer is G La DOS (Portal series), but at no point will you be considered as a candidate for a visit to Aperture Science’s Enrichment Center. Unless you lose.

Jonah Falcon@Enlong Ash has had that metal arm since Army of Darkness. Of course the chainsaw is much more iconic.
Oh Microsoft, throwing a hissy fit and threatening to cancel if their release doesn't get top priority over the others again I see. I miss the days when it didn't matter which console had the same game first.
"Pancakes. Oh, I blew it." - Joel Hodgson Nobody better lay a Butterfinger on my 3DS!Okay, seeing Skunkape and Ben at the beginning was nice, but I did not expect a Gravity Bone cameo of all things.
Also, does the fact that Winslow actually states his name mean something? Does Telltale own him, or did they get away with something Disney couldn't give a damn about?

"Pancakes. Oh, I blew it." - Joel Hodgson Nobody better lay a Butterfinger on my 3DS!I just went and took a look at the credits. Ash is voiced by someone called Danny Webber, whose credit according to IM Db includes three short films and the awful Birdemic movies.
Turns out Ash isn't the only one with a new voice. The credits list Max's VA as David Boat (known best as Lord Vorselon and Thor in video games and animation) instead of William Kasten.

"Pancakes. Oh, I blew it." - Joel Hodgson Nobody better lay a Butterfinger on my 3DS!That's not how it works. For example, Euro-PSN has no release date at all. That's not Microsoft's doing.
I can't really tell a real difference between Maxes.
Danny Webber was Rick, the doushy coworker who thinks a day without sex is a day without sunshine.

It depends what terms were in the licensing contract with Lucas Arts when Telltale made Tales. As long as they didn't sign over all rights to any original characters they added to the games, they're probably good to keep using Winslow.

It boils down to Microsoft scheduling their releases to Wednesday and possibly the fact that Europe doesn't like Sam & Max for the latter. They still made Telltale slightly hold off on the PC release because of this.
As for Max, all of his V As sound strikingly similar (the same can't be said for Sam). But if you compare his dialogue in PN 2 to the first one, there is a slight difference.
"Pancakes. Oh, I blew it." - Joel Hodgson Nobody better lay a Butterfinger on my 3DS!I'm really getting sick of PC releases always playing second fiddle to fucking microsoft.
I feel like the few games that I've actually anticipated enough to be waiting for release with baited breath for have all been released on another platform first. And I'm about 90 percent PC gamer, and 10 percent Xbox.

Well, We have achievements for the game now.
Well, for me, good luck getting that $1Mil achievement, considering how deep in debt I am in PN1
I now go by Graf von Tirol.
