I dont know. I actually thougt that it might be good. I just hope that they dont try to make it "serious" And try to make it a parody and over the top movie about spies with cars´s cast.
(And I also saw that trailer, were it implies that there will be no characters in main roles aside from Lighting and Mater?)

Eh, it all depends on how the preview was written (and assuming it was accurate at all). I mean, you can summarize The Incredibles as being "completely focused on super-heroes". which is technically true but misses a lot of details. And it's no secret the movie doesn't take place in Radiator Springs anyway.
As for previous characters, at least Sally will be appearing, as Bonnie Hunt is credited in the movie as the voice of Sally.

That "premake" trailiar was brilliant.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI agree with Mattonymy.
I'm feeling strangely happy now, contented and serene. Oh don't you see, finally I'll be, somewhere that's green...Possibly but since it's a PIXAR film, I doubt anyone will be walking out like they did with The Siege.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Maybe it's the preponderance of explosions in that trailer, but I'm getting a strong Cars + The Incredibles vibe out of this.
Definitely interested in seeing it, at any rate. The first (and only) Pixar movie I felt indifferent towards was Ratatouille, and when I finally saw it I kicked myself for a week for missing it in theaters.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The first and only PIXAR film I didn't see in theaters was Cars, which I severely regretted afterwards, so I'm making up for it by buying Cars 2 opening day tix.

Don't worry, no-one's bashing on The Incredibles that I can see. It just seems to be Pixar's black sheep.
It's also probably my favourite Pixar film tied with maybe Up. Or Toy Story 3. No, wait, WALL-E.
...Dammit Pixar.
With cannon shot and gun blast smash the alien. With laser beam and searing plasma scatter the alien to the stars.Sort of an offbeat PIXAR humor, as posted in one of the forums I visit

Not impressed by the trailers I've seen so far.
...But then I wasn't impressed by Finding Nemo's, Ratatouille's, or Up's. Then I saw the movies.
So yeah I'll give it a chance. I trust Pixar, because, quite simply, THEY CARE. Their stuff isn't just made to make money; it's art.
Btw I haven't seen Cars 2 yet, so I cannot judge it. No I didn't like the trailers. But then...

I never thought it as un-Pixary, either. I think The Incredibles is a much better (or worse) candidate for black sheep than Cars.
