Personal theory about Ivy and Hortensia: Elusia will be similar to Plegia where there the citizens of Elusia worship Sombron due to the harsh environment the kingdom is placed in, but there is a difference between worshiping something as a god-like figure and following it like a cult. The two and presumably their retainers probably don't realize that Elusia waging war against the other kingdoms is because their father or so want to resurrect Sombron, and will turn coat when the truth comes out.
Also persona , but I believe Alear was a Elusian royalty in the past before the war.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru! And I guess that means Lumiere isn't actually Alear's mom?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Sombron took the kids in the divorce.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru! If there are false parentages running around I expect it to be an excuse to use the Not Blood Siblings trope honestly. Gotta get that requisite Fire Emblem incest in somehow.
Bleye knows Sabers.Mind Control and Incest. The recurring Fire Emblem tropes.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Hey, if they're doing a "Back to basics" approach that's what we're expecting and we've already seen the former.
Bleye knows Sabers.Sombron possibly taking over the minds of Emblems kind of reminds me of what dragons can do in Dragon's Dogma. For those unaware, the various dragon enemies in that game have the ability to brainwash your Pawns and force them to fight you.
There is a good reason for that though (spoilers for the game incoming): every dragon enemy used to be an Arisen, the same sort of being your protagonist is, and that means they probably still have influence over Pawns, since Pawns naturally follow and serve the Arisen.
I highly doubt that's what Engage is going for, but it was one shallow similarity that popped up in my mind when I saw it.

I find myself liking the Engage Mode designs more than the base designs.
So it looks like Timerra is voiced by Ami Koshimizu, Ivy is voiced by Yōko Hikasa, and Hortensia is voiced by Hina Kino.
Damn, Timerra's voice actor has a heck of a record of voicing badass women. My hopes for her keep climbing.
Bleye knows Sabers. This is also Claude though like when he tried to flirt with Shamir. Although yeah, Fogato seems to over-exaggerate whereas Claude is more casual.
That said, this is a POC royal wielding a bow in service to the yellow nation that’s referred to as neutral and also has an upbeat attitude.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."
Here’s the translated relationship chart btw
Red, blue and yellow nations like before

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Do y'all think there's a chance that Engage will revisit past levels? For some reason some of the maps in the trailer look familiar but I couldn't place why. It'd make sense with all of the Milestone Celebration stuff.
I just hope they don't bring back the bridge level from Path of Radiance.
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut."Cooperating" being placed in question marks does make me further believe that Elusian characters might not be aware just what the Four Hounds want to do.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru! They used the Defense chapter in FE 9. The bridge is pure coincidence since there is a cutscene where the heroes meet Hortensia and the bridge matches with the gameplay.
Some people noted that the Reinhardt map, the Mulagir map, the Binding Blade map, and the Fort Defense map matches with Leif, Lyn, Roy, and Ike, respectively.

"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."I've completed the Birthright campaign of Fire Emblem Fates and am moving onto Conquest. Any general advice for that specific campaign (other than plan your relationships in advance because there are no challenge levels)? What should I do in the Invasion battles?
There’s icons for the other relics people noticed including Rafael Gem and Vajra-Mushiti so it looks like Byleth can use any relics power.
As expected of the Goddess[male]
Fogato and Timerra are Vigilante as their starting class, so something’s going down in their country most likely. Ivy and Hortensia apparently have Tamer.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Flayn: Does not compute.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Someone was mentioning that it's silly that the country lords are divided into neat little sibling pairs, but it looks like with Celine's title of "Second Princess" there really are off-screen royals. I imagine Her big sis ain't with us anymore though. Either that or she's secretly Zephia of the four hounds. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST. I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE FLAME EMPEROR AND THE DEATH KNIGHT BEING GAY. I MIGHT BE RIGHT ABOUT THIS TOO.

Bleye knows Sabers.x4 Make sure you prepare and have a good strategy for Chapter 10. The royals are all very good and I would make as much use out of them as you can. Percy's (Arthur's son) paralouge can get you some gold if you're in a pinch. It's been a while since I've thought about the invasion maps, but you can always change around your castle as suits your need.
Man, I miss having player units like Hubert who weren't conventionally attractive at all, to the point of having no eyebrows.
Memes aside, Aversa as far as the main story is concerned, dies trying to avenge Validar. It we take into account the spot pass, then there's also Gangrel and Walhart who become recruitable.
Then again, Aversa was the only recruit able and attractive Grimleal.
