Plus it could easily be pre-alpha stuff, that was prepared ahead of time just in case, and never ended up being needed.
Marriageable Iago or we riot.
He is marriageable though...in the Dark Souls sense, where you stab him and take his stuff.

I can't believe I married Desaix's body double.
My Little Body Double Can't Be This Cute!
This week's Weekly Famistu will have Three Houses coverage.
Nice. Hopefully we'll get to see more characters and maybe some game mechanics.
Since you have to choose one of the houses, I wonder if it will make much of a difference if you pick certain houses. Maybe it's a multiple route thing like Birthright/Conquest/Revelation, except all in one game since the Switch is a console.
I kinda hope not. I'd rather have one complete route than three quarter-assed routes.
I don't remember where it was stated you have to choose a house.
It was stated last Direct, but the fact that they aren't making a huge deal out of the choice the way they did Fates' inspires some hope.
I can totally see this game doing three different routes, though we're going to have to wait and see what new information we get.
I just hope picking one house doesn't cause every playable unit in the other houses to get killed off once Act 1 finishes or something like that.

Maybe they become your enemies but you've got a chance to sabotage their education beforehand. Severus Snape simulator, go!
Whenabouts in the week does a Weekly Famitsu usually come out?
Between Thursday and Friday. Might be different next week due to Golden Week, which is significant because apparently it will be getting weekly coverage like Fates had.

My guess is that you do (mostly) all the same missions, but with a different cast of starting characters. It's unclear if you recruit the other houses later or not.
If we do get the other houses later, I hope IS remembers to properly adjust the stats this time.
The stats will all be lousy. Because you're a teacher, so you get the mother of all escort missions.
Just for a refresher:
Famitsu info, some of which we didn't already know.
Oh good, turnwheel confirmed. So we have our first concrete house difference, too (besides the characters you get): Red favors magic, Blue spears, and Yellow bows.
Warrior being a basic class seems interesting to me.
Then how come their leader wields an axe?
Here are some scans.
Happy to hear the turnwheel mechanic is back. Though since it's apparently because of Sothis, I can't help but laugh that Fire Emblem has its own version of Sothic Turns.
Wow, way to stereotype. What, just because Edelgard comes from the Empire means she can't aspire to achieve the exalted state of Brigand? Great Teacher Byleth is here to help all students achieve their dreams, not the dreams their nations have for them.
But yeah, I wonder why we've got two reps fitting the stereotype and one deviating from it, and not all one or the other.
