I'm suddenly reminded of all the Fire Emblem High School AU fanfiction I ran into when I first stumbled on fanfiction.net...

Still hoping the amiibo characters show up as teachers. Maybe it can be like Yo Kai Watch 3 where the amiibo characters' lessons can shift stats around. For instance, Ike's lessons increase STR at the expense of SPD, Corrin's lessons increase DEX at the expense of RES, etc.

I know, but I was making a joke about how Saitama excelled in all practical exams, but only barely squeaked into the Heroes Association because he basically wiffed the written exam.

What are people's thoughts on this Byleth-Fomortiis theory on Reddit? Could be a coincidence of elements though.

I'll believe it when Byleth actually sprouts horns, tails, and wings.

The name is unlikely to mean something, especially since there doesn't seem to be anyone else named after demonology yet. FE has a habit of giving people mythological names that don't actually match them at all, from Cain and Abel onwards.
