The Nohrian court in the time of the siblings' youths was a rough place from all the concubines attacking their rivals and their rivals' children- Xander escaped it by being the son of the queen proper, while Leo and Elise evaded the worst of it by just being so young when it happened, but Camilla was quite badly damaged by it.
Like, this is the stuff that ended up with a young Azura with a body covered in scars- Camilla apparently had it rough.

I sure said that!![]()
So, the Nohrian siblings are all half-siblings to each other- Garon is their father but they each had a different mother. The same may or may not be true of the Hoshido siblings, though it's not as clear. Azura was intially adopted by Garon following her mother's death by revealing the truth of their escape from Valla to her but was spirited away by Hoshido's ninjas when she was fairly young. Corrin, meanwhile, is the child of Mikoto and the humanized form of Anakos' soul- Mikoto, for the record, did not have any children in her time as Queen of Hoshido. Anakos' madness-gripped body ended up creating Lillith, whose early life was spent as a general of his until Anakos' soul gave her the courage to escape, where she ended up as Corrin's stablemaid- So the fish dragon is Corrin's sister of sorts.
I believe it was her support with... Kaze? It's been a while... But yeah, he accidentally catches a glimpse of her old wounds after her clothes are torn.

I sure said that!Alright. That was very informative.
I always saw Camilla being perfectly OK with killing loved ones as sort of lost in translation, since Malig Knights went from riding zombie dragons to 'evil' dragons. Given that her victory animation has her scratching her mount under the chin affectionately, it's possible that she sees no difference between alive and undead.
Or maybe I'm just reading too much into the small stuff.
it was more to show that she'd be mourning over the consequences of her actions and the fact that Corrin betraying Nohr really fucked things up in the homeland and pushed Camilla's sanity and emotional health pretty far.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeFrom her perspective, either she kills you fast or you will be killed painfully and slowly by someone else at that point- She's used to having people she loves being torn away from her and she's been browbeaten into submission to Garon, following him as much out of fear as out of a wish to see him as the kind man he once was.
That too.

I sure said that!Well, I've never been known for grasping the obvious stuff straight out.
I didn't pick up on Sonia being a morph until the game flat out told her.
Edit: Oh, yeah, has anybody seen Arthur's dialogue if he's on duty at the spring in Revelations? Apparently, offscreen he tames a giant fish living in it.

Birthright Chapter 24: Tears of a Dragon
This chapter was rather straightforward. Of course, the tunnel exit ended up leading right into the Training Grounds... Yet despite this, I didn't have too much trouble with the enemy forces, and the Dragon Vein effects kept the flying reinforcements at bay long enough to safely finish off the boss.
Also Poor Lilith. I was really worried about what this would mean for my Castle defenses. I had her one level away from 99, although all of her stats reached their caps long ago. Fortunately, it seems like her ghost is just as capable of accepting offerings and defending the Castle as she was In life.
Y'know, Genealogy of the Holy War was just released on the Japanese 3DS Virtual Console yesterday, for those interested. Obviously Japan-only and exclusive to the New 3DS.
I might be more inclined to import a New 3DS just to play that and the original Mystery of the Emblem on the go if I didn't already have those two games for my Super Famicom. If/when Thracia 776 gets released on the 3DS VC I might consider it, would be less expensive than obtaining the actual cartridge for the game
Birthright Chapter 25: Traitor Revealed
As the chapter name implies, the mole has been revealed. Apparently Takumi still had some brainwash residue left over. But thanks to Azura's help, he was able to break free from the control completely, and we were ready to deliver an ass-kicking of epic proportions.
Too bad my army was on the receiving end of it at first. I lost more units in this mission than in any before to those armored foes in the early parts. I definitely should've brought more magic-wielders and armor-piercing weapons. I was afraid I was going to get routed. But once the early foes were taken care of, I was able to stabilize, have Shura (the only one of my Locktouch units to survive the early onslaught... and I brought all of them!) unlock the chests, then carefully make my way up to the boss and his entourage. From there, we picked away at him, and I gave Takumi the honor of ending the fight!
Afterward, Leo put it best. Iago was a coward to the end.

Believe in the power of Camilla.
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiI just beat Chapter 10 of Hard Conquest myself. Took me three tries due to those damn slippery Pegasus Knights, but aside from that, it didn't frustrate me too much.
It might be due to the fact that Engie (current player avatar) was a General at the time, so I had two walls to plug up the holes in the front wall.
I now have Beruka in tow, who Engie is going to be married too. Does she benefit all that much from having any of the Knight Class Tree's Skills?
Oh, I believe in Camilla. I've seen her come up against the business end of a bow plenty of times, and come out on top. The problem is, I only get one Camilla, and there's a lot of lanes to keep track of, never mind the Pegasus knights that will ignore everyone except Azura.
Doesn't help that Niles keeps missing shots that he has WTA on. Or that Effie is just below the right amount of damage to one round archers with a javelin. I'm considering going and buying a bunch of tonics to tip the scales in my favour, but I don't know when I'm going to get more funds. I beat Birthright with 47 gold in the coffers.
Beruka has pretty high skill, so Luna could be good for her. And Pavise is a great skill for, like, everyone.
Bewitching EyesAs far as funds go, check the map's houses. Tonics are well worth their weight in gold any time they're used.
Give Niles a Bronze Bow. He'll have better Hit and against Pegs, the effective multiplier should be enough to still make it a one-shot.
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiIt's a completely niche thing, but I sincerely wish there was a way to dequip skills during battle.
Arthur learns Gamble in this chapter, but I don't trust him with anything but a bronze axe because I need hits more than I need a lucky crit, and this makes him terrible at hitting blue weapons that he has an advantage against.
I've decided to pull back Nyx and deploy Mozu instead, because her +mag pair up to Corrin is completely redundant since the magic tonic makes her one-shot any oni fighter she encounters. Kind of wish I hadn't done that before the mission, since I could get some dual strike exp to Silas, but too bad. The biggest problem is when they smash the southern wall, since it just turns into an epic jam where I can't actually kill anyone because they're just fast enough to avoid being doubled, and I can't give Elise' bonus to anybody because the ninjas will chain a dual strike into her, while simultaneously Corrin is locked down keeping Niles from being flanked by sky knights. And Camilla has to book it to the green zone because a group of Oni Fighters are one turn away from a game over.
I think I need more tonics. And to somehow get Beruka to pair up with Arthur.

Which quotes?
Speaking of quotes, do any of the Second Gens use honorifics with Corrin? I was caught off guard by how Hisame (aka the guy who's a stickler for proper protocol concerning how to treat royals in his Supports with Kiragi) was basically all like "s'up Corrin".
