Yes. Even though it may seem like it, those later chapters in Birthright don't have infinite reinforcements. It's just a lot of large waves. So, if you don't wanna deal with them, you gotta go straight for the throat. Otherwise, enjoy stuffing your units full of EXP.

FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiMaybe on an easier difficulty or a run specifically designed to feed Corrin into a map-solo'r that could work, but as it is, it's a challenge for me to survive the first few turns because everything has superior movement to my units and is at an equal level.
I suppose the side effect of zero grinding in a mode that allowed grinding is that you aren't going to get many children. Seriously. Only child paralogue available is Kana's.
Edit: God, they made staves way too powerful in enemy hands. I just lost Ryoma because a Strategist pulled him into a gauntlet of Generals and Berserkers. And you know what? He still would have lived, had there not been a Maid with exactly the right amount of damage to kill him before he could gain back his dual guard gauge, in addition to him not proccing astra or getting a crit.

Huh, this is weird.
I decided to run Kana's paralogue just to get a bit more DVP before chapter 27. Didn't really think about skill inheritance, so she picked up Poison Strike as a neutral ally. But during the battle, Corrin levelled up as a Blacksmith, and learned Salvage Blow, and when I used the offspring seal right now, she also had Salvage Blow.
It was a grindless run, so wasn't expecting her to have anything useful, but that's a bit of an odd circumstance. Will need to keep it in mind in future playthroughs.
The game counts Kana's inheritance as happening at the end of the chapter, not the beginning. It's pretty weird.
Bewitching EyesMake sure you're not trying to hide around corners or whatever with those Entrap Strategists. Enemy staffers will prioritize attacking over staffing, so if you lure her from the edge of her tome range, you should be safe (so long as you can survive tanking the attack). For Garon's stationary one, Spy Shuriken + Azura Sing should be able to clean her up from complete safety.

FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiAlright, Birthright Hard mode beaten.
Chapter 27 I eventually had down to clockwork. Once I figured out how to kill the general that starts just north of the group (I used Saizo with a Spy Shriuken getting a dual strike from Rinkah with a hammer), I could basically run the whole thing like clockwork, making sure to have Silas stick the strategist on a beast killer. It's the Endgame that's the problem, with no save and a ton of high power units ready to slaughter on enemy phase. I eventually solved it by having Corrin with Dragonstone+, Silas with the Guard Naginata, and Rinkah with a dual club tank the onslaught, supported by Kanna's Rally Defence and Dragon Ward (will never regret having Scarlet pass that down) Felicia's inspiration and Sakura's personal Skill + Rally Luck. Ryoma cleared out the southern forces, and after surviving those first few turns, I cleared them out and went for the boss. And I got Dragon Fang for the finishing blow.
I think for my Conquest run, I'll use a female avatar.

Huh, I noticed those characters all get a lot of attention, though.
I certainly would rank them amongst my favorites.
