Well I could be wrong, but starting a revolution while already in the middle of a war probably isn't the best idea. If anything the problem is more Azura did things without having more people in the loop leading to the throne plan.
"Shall I use you, or make you mine... I'm not so sure what I'll do." - DorthyThinking about it, the Internal Reformist story concept was kind of doomed from the start because of the existence of Anankos and Revelation.
Wait, I thought that was The same Anakos each time, from a revelations world where he won.
Side note: It's hilarious when Arthur wins at the arena as a ninja or master ninja. Shouting "Come strike a pose with me" while vanishing from sight is an amusing contradiction. Was also fun to have Saizo land one killing blow on the boss of chapter 10 (forget his name, it's the treacherous master ninja who was around this point in the revelations storyline)

Probably cause of the song. The same verse that literally repairs destroyed worlds, weakens God Dragons, and brings back the dead written by the God Dragon. Though considering how much of a dick Anankos can be even to himself he's probably just keeping them around as trophies.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. The thought of all those Anankoses doing a Fusion Dance though.
Umm... so, personally... this is the first time this has happened, so I'm a bit surprised. Only a centimetre away...Kind of a double post, but nobody has really commented in the past few days, and I want to talk about progress in grindless Birthright.
All of my main party has promoted. I'm trying to hook up Saizo and Felicia because I want her to get access to Shruikenfaire, and in the process, Saizo has gotten enough levels to promote, despite the fact that I hadn't used him since the master ninja boss goodness knows how long ago.
I really wish Camilla wouldn't spam fireball dragon veins, or that Elise's retainers would stop rushing the enemy after turning green. I don't think I get anything for it, but I managed to keep them both alive.
edit: The game did make up for it in the arena, where Kagero won two matches in a row because Silas Critical Dual-Striked each time (and she missed her first attack because enemy bow users).

Yeah... Hard Mode does not pull any punches. Makes it clear from the start that you're going to have to work for your victory.
Speaking of which, Chapter 24. This is just stupidly brutal. How are you supposed to deal with Great Knights swinging around all types silver weapons? That's roughly 40 damage with a guaranteed weapon triangle advantage. And on top of that, there's sorcerers with fire orbs ready to soften you up so a safe fight becomes an enemy kill.

I picked Hard to freshen the experience a bit, also to capture units with more interesting skillsets and/or better stats to work with.
And yes, still going on to the project of making a team of my Troper friends. My current playthrough is for Engie, and on his request, will be a low speed, high defense Ballistician who will eventually marry Beruka. (I intend to make him go through Knight and General first to net some extra defense and Pavise).
I honestly think the characters in the "scramble"-esque DLC that got images of them in costume/yukata/kimono/etc. are going to get that treatment.
So we may have 2nd gen expies of Xander, Camilla, Leo, and Setsuna along with the return of older Dwyer, Midori, Ophelia, Nina, and Forrest as 1st gen units.
Which I wouldn't mind, honestly.

Does Camilla's character work when she's the younger one?
Also forgot to mention: I didn't realize Takumi and Leo were supposed to be the younger brothers. I mean, there's two throwaway lines that say that they're younger than Corrin, but for the most part, they look older.
Maybe it's just the posture that confuses me.

Yes, Garon and his retainers are clear cut villains. Though I have yet to play Conquest or Revelations (I'm not quite finished with Birthright, but I'm near the endgame), it feels like the choice isn't so much Hoshido or Nohr as much as "Dethrone Garon as La Résistance" or "Dethrone Garon as an Internal Reformist."
Anyway, I got that secret character from upgrading the puppet. He is indeed awesome.
Birthright Chapter 23: Camilla
(I'm going to start spoiler-tagging the chapter names since I'm approaching the endgame.)
This was a fun chapter. The catacombs were indeed maze-like, but that was actually helpful to me. This is also the chapter where I made the most use of pairing up out of any so far, at first so I could get everyone out of range of the boss's Dragon Vein fireballs. Once I got to the central area, I had Hinoka ferry my Avatar up to Arthur, to have Elise talk some sense into him. It worked, and both he and Effie became NPC units on our side. Then the very next turn, Arthur got taken out by a Fimbulvetr. "My one weakness!", indeed. From there I just went up to the bosses and beat some sense into them.
