Watashiwa is right. Majin Tensei was SMT x FE. It even had permadeath (for demons) while having typical RPG elements like equipment that even the demons could wear, tons of time travel in the second, and a pseudo magic/race triangle.
Guns were also super effective against aerial demons too if I recall right.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I want to spend more time playing Fates, but I'm not too keen on running Birthright or Conquest when I've already gotten a happy ending.
So, I'm considering running Lunatic mode for the first time ever. Does anybody have any tips for Lunatic Mode Revelations? (Don't think I'll use the grinding DLC or other people's castles)
What you could do is play Birthright and Conquest and then do the story to Revelation when you play your Lunatic run so that you end it all with the happy ending again.
Regardless, Revelation's Lunatic is about two things: stat inflation and gimmicks. So work on a core team from the start because being over-leveled is going to be the only thing letting your 2-4 stronger units reliable survive combat against the enemies' early promoted units. Make sure you use Gunter too, as he's one of only two +Str/+Def pair partners early on and just about any unit who is good at leading wants those boosts (the other is Rinkah). The gimmicks you should already be familiar with from your previous playthroughs. Just be aware that the heavier stat inflation may make dealing with some of them trickier. Oh, and make sure you make use of special weapons. Guard Naginata and Dual weaponry is especially helpful here, where all enemies have max weapon ranks and many of the early ones are S-Rankers, so getting WTA will result in a huge damage reduction for what your units have to tank.

Lunatic is stupid and i don't recommend it unless you are a masochist
because it's stupid (even though I did it)
Also I highly recommend playing through both Birthright and Conquest. Birthright has a better story, Conquest has more interesting characters and way better gameplay, and both are much better balanced and actually have you get to know the characters rather than just throwing them all at you at once. Plus the story in Revelations will actually make a lick of sense.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI wouldn't say Birthright has a better story so much as a better handled one. It's the least offensive narrative of the 3 routes, but it's also the most boring and safe one.
However, I will say that its endgame emotional scenes work more effectively than the other routes.

It's a pretty standard "progress through enemy territory and strike down their leader" plot with no real twists aside from some sibling drama, but it executes it okay for what it is. Rather boring, though, aside from Xander killing Elise lololol.
Revelation is basically the same thing in a different world, but instead of sibling drama it's parental drama and a murder mystery subplot.
Conquest is... different, to its credit, but is a total mess that winds up being worse than both.
I'm not a fan of any of Fates' stories. Call Awakening's plot generic if you must, but at least it executed it well, and had some interesting twists.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! You know, I thought that the Caltrop hidden weapon was a joke, because it was locked to 1 range, had poor attack power, and inflicted str/skl -2 on the user.
But it turns out the convoy doesn't show hidden weapon stat debuffs. It inflicts a whopping -8 def/res/spd on contact, and that's probably why the final boss has stat down immunity, rather than reduction.
Edit: I'm not a masochist, but I do normally play on highest available difficulties. And yet for some reason, I don't in strategy games, so I might as well try it.
I also don't like the idea of killing of almost half of my units to get clarity on the second half. I'm pretty sure that supports cover anything that I needed to know.

Funny, I thought Ryoma liked puppies considering the art from Kozaki...

"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."Unrelated to the joke, but is there seriously art of Ryoma with puppies? 'Cause that sounds adorable and/or hilarious.

FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiAlright, I'm going to tackle the other two fates stories.
I've been really apprehensive about it, because to me, it's like picking between two evil options when there's a good choice right there (I always go full good choices in any game with a morality system). And trying to resolve it with "I'll play it, but I won't enjoy it." completely counters the point of a video game in the first place.
I'm actually not sure why I changed my stance on it, just that I have.
i mean
they're not really bad paths in the least (especially since, as kuroi mentioned, you're not actually killing all of the other cast)
it's taking sides in a conflict where neither is really wrong
Revelations just provides a (very convoluted) solution to managing to take neither side.

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeWell, Conquest is the less morally upright path but only because Garon is a poorly written character with other poorly written minions. The part regarding the siblings and family stuff is a far more even choice.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/lb_i.php?lb_id=13239183440B34964700 Alfric's Fire Emblem Liveblog Encyclopedia!that reminds me
chapter 6 is stupid on Revelations
not because it's hard or a dumb level or whatever
but because the end of that chapter is so over-the-top and comical on how it plays out
because Corrin literally says "I'm not here to betray anyone!" and both families go "Oh no, Corrin has betrayed us and is now our enemy! we must retreat and deal with how hurt we are with Corrin's betrayal"
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-Mae

The Fates children, since that's kinda what's happening in Heirs of Fate, and Setty.
