... ugh. Soleil's chapter wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that enemies will stack up and not attack certain units. It might be that they aren't as suicidal as the scouting enemies I'm used to, but it's still frustrating to see them just stand there, not doing anything, and forcing me to use actions to take them out.
And then the boss decided that, rather than attacking someone who guaranteed can't kill him, he'll phase through the entire army to pick a fight with Mozu, who absolutely can kill him, despite me preemptively equipping her with her weakest weapon in hopes that she'd miss.
So I have to do it again. It feels like a 100% achievement I have to hit to capture all the bosses I can capture. But suicidal AI paired with Pass, combined with a level that's very stressful to go through... Even the crates lying around aren't going to help with this.
If you're ever afraid a unit will kill something you want to capture, unequip them. Fates enemies will also give some preference to attacking targets who can't fight back, so you can lure things out by unequipping there too.
As for the enemies who won't attack something they do 0 damage to (with some exceptions: they'll still do it if they have poison skills or sometimes if they can inflict debuffs), welcome to Conquest AI (you'll get this with any kid who originates from there).
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiThat's what I did with Gangrel. I'd unequip all of Chrom's weapons and send him into Gangrel's range.
He'll prioritize attacking at range with the Levin Sword, but if the other pirates block access to that he'll attack head-on and possibly get himself killed, and unequipped Chrom guarantees Gangrel will go after him instead of other, armed individuals.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Birthright Chapter 16: Pleasure Palace
This was another cramped quarters mission, with treasure chests to pilfer. I also learned that my avatar falling in battle does not cause mission failure in Casual mode. I tried having him block the Sorcerer and Dark Mage in the northwest corner of the map, but I seriously underestimated the Sorcerer's power. Then there were the Fire Orbs. I did manage to maneuver my units so that they were only a minor nuisance. As for the chests, the Outlaws on the map got the ones in the southeast room, only to find their way out blocked by Ryoma! From there, it was just a matter of taking out the chapter boss.
Now, the "Who is the mole?" plot thickens. I'm thinking it's either Azura or Takumi, and not so much intentional betrayal as it is being possessed by some malevolent force. Time will tell, I suppose.
Huh. Selkie is... worrisome.
I can see why people suggest Peri & Kaden, I get similar vibes to the Virion & Olivia pairing: not official, but there's a lot of similarities to the child.
Also found out that although Takumi's Shinai is unable to kill even with lethality proc, it can if you get an Astra proc.
Wow, Felicia is just, like, the worst mother ever for Felicia.
Also, Elise!Shiro is better than I was expecting. He makes a pretty decent Basara.
Bewitching EyesHonestly.... I'm not sure. Like, if they do the Father one again I hope there's more bachelorettes so we don't have another case of "child is Lost Forever because exactly equal number of men and women and you didn't go for protagsexual woman" shenanigans.
I managed to actually defeat all of the enemies, including the boss, in Episode 4 of the Akaneia Saga remake. Just to see if I could, even though the actual objective is to get Nyna to the fort at the top of the map.
Turns out it wasn't even worth it because my Speed score was reduced to 0 from spending 40+ turns on the map. And I lost Belf, Roberto, and Leiden in the process, so I only scored 209 points total for that Episode (my current high score is 410 points).
Camus got swole as fuck from eating all of those enemy Cavaliers, Paladins, and Horsemen though. Had around 57 HP and 20+ in Str/Skl/Spd/Def by the time he reached Lv. 20.
Enjoyment and Excitement!I feel like the mother and father systems are both more or less the same. So no real preference here, so long as they integrate it into the story better than "lolDeepRealms".
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiI'm largely indifferent myself since I just marry Anna anyway and I doubt she'll be having a kid of her own in any of the future games.
Though I am partial to the female units deciding the child, if only for the possibility that (for whatever reason) I don't marry Anna, my kid would have a sibling and I think that's pretty cool.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI thought of kind of a crazy alternative to the Deeprealms that might be a little better.
What if the villain of the theoretical next game is this eldritch being that hails from another dimension and often has his soulless army of whatever kidnap children from the dimension of our protagonist. Maybe he does this to covert them in to soulless soldiers or whatever, maybe make that a plot point. The parents are unable to prevent their child from being kidnapped, they chase them to another dimension where time passes differently, etc, something like that. Still just a basic idea I came up with, could probably be done better..
I think the issue is that it almost can't be done as well as Awakening's children were without copying major aspects of the plot. Awakening's both made sense and fit within the realm of the story, and you had to try to not get all the children.
I think that besides a time skip, which comes with its own issues, it's going to be tough to keep doing the child units the way that they have them set up.

Yes, he/she can.
