From the way Leo described Brynhildr, it sounds like the most powerful tome in the franchise. gravity, plant-control and a few other things?
Those are some Combo Platterpowers that are very useful.
If there's a Continuity Nod of sorts for the Divine Weapons, I hope we get a character that uses everything that Brynhildr has to offer. Like, maybe a boss that changes the terrain?
Although, my theory is that they all wore down over the years and only their pure essence, in the form of the Fire Emblem and the gemstones, survived.
Is there a reason not to give Peri the Chef's Hat? Even when she messes up her food is amazing.
Bewitching EyesTwo of my favorite legendary weapons are the Eckesachs for its awesome design and Ereshkigal for its awesome animation. Too bad you could only use Eckesachs in trial mode and Ereshkigal couldn't be used legitimately.
Some of my other favorite weapons include the Yato (all of its forms), Goetia (that laugh is awesome), the Book of Naga (taste the rainbow!), and the Gradivus (full heal is a nice bonus).
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."I read an interesting essay recently about how Athos is a badly-written character. The tl;dr version is that he's so strong he probably could've solved everything singlehandedly yet doesn't for vague This Is Something He's Got to Do Himself reasons.
I do kinda see it.

Do you also like the other forms of the Yato?
I also really like Siegfried, because it's a sword that shoots out darkness. How cool is that?
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."I have to admit, I also find Skadi to be a pretty cool weapon since it's a bow that can shoot darkness...and can also hit at point blank range without the Point Blank skill.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."I really like Blazing Sword's Sol Katti for its custom crit animation, even if it's not a very good weapon. I also like Ragnell for both looking cool and having utility. Oh, and the Radiant Dawn Double Bow. It's got great utility, despite not looking all that impressive and showing up rather late to the party.

I always thought that the Double Bow could've done with a better name. Other than that, no grievances with it.
Another legendary weapon I really like is the Aurgelmir, despite the hefty penalties that come from using it. I love its name and I like how it's a cool-looking hammer thing.
Another tome I really like is Apocalypse. Its animation doesn't compare to Ereshkigal's but it's still a fun weapon to use.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."I gave the Aurgelmir to Charlotte, her strength is high enough that the penalty is more of an annoyance than anything else. Plus between Gamble and Death Blow, her crit's high enough that it doesn't matter. Specially if she's fighting a woman.
Something I didn't notice until I started grinding her in Revelations: Charlotte's a really good unit.

Bewitching EyesThat reminds me: I've found Waterwheel is one that really doesn't give a crap about its penalty, since it's basically a super Guard Naginata and Oboro's role is typically to tank and soften, not sweep (though the combats where she has full Str will usually net her a couple kills). So, I guess I'm fairly fond of that too.

(except this probably just jinxed it)!
Made fancy new weapons for last two members of my main team, since they didn't have ones yet.
Niles - Helepolis (Setsuna's Yumi)
Silas - Joyeuse (Nohrian Blade)

Siegfried has a really cool design and I love how it shoots freaking dark LASERS. Also, how huge it is. Those dark waves when Xander unsheathes it in Birthright are also really cool.
Brynhildr comes close second, it's appearance looks very shadowy and powerful, it's ability so summons ripping branches is cool, and from the way Leo describes it, it seems to be pretty damn powerful beyond what we see in-game.
