Nyx is the perf mother for Rhajat. She gets an astronomical magic stat, a suitable hair colour, and access to Dark Mage, which is truly her natural class.
Also, I A+'d Charlotte and Rinkah. Death Blow will help Charlotte's already massive crit rate, and I'm hoping Berserker will give a boost to Rinkah's Strength. At the very least Axefaire'll help.

Bewitching EyesEkimmak: I don't think it's sad at all. The statistics are stacked toward Str for her. At best, she's got 50% Mag growth in Sorc and at worst, 50% Str. With her much higher Str base, it's very unlikely that her Mag will ever surpass her Str. This is made up for by the Bolt Axe having ludicrous Mt and the enemies generally having total ass for Res.
As for the Arena Shield, there's two ways to approach it. The first is to put it on someone who has basically gained no levels, but has a support with someone with very high Attack. When you get this person in the arena, make them the lead. Since you always get the first strike, there's a good chance that the stronger unit will help 1-2-shot the enemy lead since they'll be as fragile as your under-leveled lead.
The second approach is use an arena-specific skill build. Since the enemies cheat their raw stats, but never pick up procs, the best way to get an advantage is with proc stacking. Rend Heaven and Luna are generally preferred, but Dragon Fang is an okay substitute for Luna (Astra is also somewhat okay at lower levels if paired with Quixotic, but the more you Eternal Seal, the less usable it becomes). One of Certain Blow or Quixotic is a must. Other skills that see favour are Wary Fighter (because the game can and will cheat even slow classes to double your fastest units), Death Blow and any of the weapon-faires.

For example, say a General has a Steel Lance and a Steel Bow in his inventory. The General currently has the Steel Lance equipped, so I attack him with from 2 range thinking he won't be able to counter-attack. The enemy General switches to his Steel Bow to counter-attack despite having the Steel Lance equipped. So you might think, "oh good, he's using his Steel Bow, I can just go in and attack him directly" until you look at his stat screen and realize he still has the Steel Lance equipped. This is all in the Player Phase btw.
Enjoyment and Excitement!Epic: That will generally work for playthroughs where characters never get past 20/25. But once you get far enough along to see stuff like this
◊, then you need specific skill builds to take on round 3.

Personally, the Jugdral setting is not exactly all that interesting to me either, though that doesn't mean I dislike it. For all the jokes I like to make about Sigurd's campaign ending by crashing and burning, I do applaud the writers for being bold enough to go there and the game for introducing the children mechanic that I love playing around with in Awakening and Fates.
As for a remake, I really would prefer a new game that continues having more classes being available for both sexes and same-sex S-ranks. However, I'd totally buy a remake of the Jugdral games if you can S-rank Sigurd and Arvis and completely derail the original plot.

"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."
x3 At this point, only PvPers who build things the hard way, since not having statues and skills super optimized is a good way to get spanked (even then, Warp and stuff just makes everything really dumb). I'm also going to assume that if we get an equivalent to Apotheosis, the devs are going to assume this level of grinding.
Dragonfire: If not the players, certain classes. Trying to take a Knight into one of the older games' arenas was just a recipe for disaster.

So the first time I had Sylvia visit the village where she gets the Defender Sword, the game freezes on me. Apparently Sylvia has to be the first unit to move on that turn, or else the game will freeze if Sylvia visits the village after your other units have taken an action.
Is Genealogy of the Holy War really this buggy? I'm aware of the more well known issues like Seliph starting with 2 leadership stars when he should have 3, Seliph/Julia pairing existing at all, Ced if Lewyn is his father (Ced's base Speed can end up so high that it causes an overflow and he starts with 17 Speed instead of 30)...
Enjoyment and Excitement! It is on this day that Odin Dark was spawned from the darkest corners of the everlasting beacon of light and warmth that is his mother, destined to have a dark awakening to realize he must satisfy the aching blood of his bloodline and fulfill his birthright to assist in ending a conquest in a long story of revelations.
... I'm not sorry.

Lunatic+: Try Not to Throw Edition
.

You know, it's kind of sad, that despite me taking Camilla through just about every magic class available to her, she still has better strength in classes that only use tomes.
I guess it means she'll have an outstanding strength when she goes back to a class with physical attacks, but for now, it's just annoying.
Does anyone have a recommendation for who to give an arena shield to?
