If its a Gaiden reference, then they totally failed at it.
Gained had the very clear aesop that "Humans don't gods interfering in their lives, and need to worship both gods for balance."
In Awakening, Valm totally allows Divine Dragons who aren't even real gods to interfere and dictate their lives, while kicking Duma out of their unified religion because he's ugly I guess. Complete Aesop Amnesia.
Why should they be worshipping Divine Dragons, and Naga anyhow considering Valentia was totally free of Living Dragons is another plothole, especially considering the Naga religion is Fake, and Tiki shouldn't be conning people.
Also Duma never died contrary to Awakening, both he and Mila are sleeping.
Alm's message was clear, if they remember Alm, they should remember his message.
Tiki should not be spreading a fake religion, its very out of character.
Awakening made mistakes even within the game itself. A support with Panne and Ricken, says her mom died when she was a baby, and she never knew any other taguel. Only for Panne to talk about being raised by her Taguel mother for most of her life in a support with Yarne.

I always interpreted the Demon's Ingle as the supposed resting place of Duma, as in the people came to believe it was Duma's resting place over the course of thousands of years. Whether it actually is supposed to be Duma's resting place may or may not be true.
Did we ever get Word of God over whether it was actually where Duma now rests, and by Word of God, I mean "not a character saying that stories say that Duma rests there now?"
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."
I know that the Japanese name is Duma's Remains, but again, one can make the in-universe argument that the mountain was named that because the people thought it was built upon Duma's resting place. Myths can change over the course of time, after all; we see this in real life, such as how Yahweh
went from one god in a pantheon to being considered the only god by the people who worshipped him. Perhaps, over the course of those thousands of years, people started misremembering things, leading them to believe that Demon's Ingle is where Duma was defeated.
There's also the possibility that Demon's Ingle really is built upon Duma's remains and that something happened between the thousands of years since his last defeat and the time of Fire Emblem: Awakening which resulted in him moving locations from the place he was defeated by Alm. The fact that Fire Emblem: Awakening takes place long after the other games in Fire Emblem Akaneia means that players can fill in the gaps themselves.
Or, you know, Outrealm shenanigans meant that Fire Emblem: Awakening took place in a world where Duma was defeated in the southern area. I can totally buy that argument, given how something similar happens in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse, which takes place in an alternate universe version of Shin Megami Tensei IV. The conflict in those games played out differently, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was an Outrealm where the conflict against Duma went differently than what happened in the Fire Emblem Gaiden we are familiar with.

But now you're just making up stuff that has no basis in canon at all to suit serious inconsistencies in the lore. The bit about Doma moving places is also woefully ignorant of Doma's motives and is ultimate fate. Doma wanted to be defeated by Alm. He would never awaken and do battle again under any circumstance. That was his whole plan from the very beginning. And he doesn't even have remains. Doma is still alive. You can believe in your headcanons if you want but at some point, after seeing that Valm is riddled with inconsistencies and Ylisse itself is not free from numerous inconsistencies, you have to realize that they're just headcanons with no basis in canon and this is just a case of incompetent writers not knowing what they were doing.

2000 but again, why bring up these things that are a clear throwback and fanserive towards those who played Gaiden but change almost everything, sometimes to the extent of missing the whole damn point of Gaiden's plot only to never explain a single thing about why anything is different? None of the Gaiden throwbacks are relevant to the plot of Awakening. No details are ever given. There's a place called Sage's Village in Gaiden. There's a place called Sage's Hamlet in Awakening. The two locations are intended to be the same since they even have a similar building layout. But they're in drastically different places. This is also the case with many other named locations. Almost every other location of the chapters in the Valm arc is a named location from Gaiden but the only correct location is Valm castle which is clearly Rigel castle. Every other location is in the wrong place. So how many times can one reasonably use the explanation 'People misremembered it as a lot of time has passed' or 'Some unexplained event that is never mentioned in the game that I just came up with caused the change' before everything falls apart? Because after the 10th or so time such an explanation needs to be used (and keep in mind, these inconsistencies are not limited to past lore but the characters within the game itself as mentioned above about Panne's mother), it becomes clear that the writers are simply incompetent hacks.

Sure, all of my explanations are just headcanon, but nothing in the game or Word of God says that my explanations are impossible, hence why I can justify using those explanations as to why stuff in Valm being different doesn't bug me so much. Understandably, there will be others who will scream about "writer incompetence," but I'm just merely giving some possible in-universe explanations as to why stuff is different. The whole existence of Outrealms works as a way to explain why things are different, and unless there's some ironclad evidence that everything happens the exact same way in all the Outrealms, it's a good enough explanation for me.
I didn't scream when the Divine Powers appeared in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse while having no presence in Shin Megami Tensei IV, and I'm certainly not going to scream just because a mountain in southern Valm was rumored to be built on top of Duma. Though I suppose I can see why some would think that a mountain was built on Duma's "remains," considering how Duma himself looks like something a penguin puked out to feed its young.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."Birthright Chapter 11: Out to Sea
This was a fun chapter. The enemies were all flyers, so my bow wielders kicked some serious ass. The Sky Knights in particular fell quickly thanks to having both Weapon Triangle and the usual flyers' disadvantage. we also met Reina the Kinshi Knight in this chapter, who was quite powerful. Is she a pre-promoted unit? And in the post-fight cutscene, Zola actually proves useful.
Yes, Reina is a pre-promoted unit. Kinshi Knight is one of the possible promotions for both a Sky Knight and an Archer.
Out of curiosity, did you end up using the Dragon's Veins in that level? I didn't dare use them in my Birthright playthrough since I had Azura reclassed as a Dark Flier, and I didn't want her to be hampered.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."I remember how, since I didn't use those Dragon's Veins, I had a bit of a shock when fighting ruffians on that map. "Whoa! Where did those whirlwinds come from?! Oh...oh right, Dragon's Veins."
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."
A Let's Play for the original or the remake?
Remake. I would very much have liked to have played it. Though I will say the Avatar in this one is implemented somewhat choppily; it really is basically a self-insert character that doesn't affect the plot all that much whereas Robin is a character who'd exist anyway that just happens to be customizable.

It's funny Mila is the one they worship and Doma just get location's named after him in Valm, especially when Gaiden's point was that both their philosophies were too extreme and they both realized this and regretted it.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
