I think my Orochi has been especially SPD screwed. She is a Lvl. 13 Onmyoji who has 19 SPD (it's really 15 SPD because I gave her two Speedwings). The only reason she's not getting doubled is because of the Speedwings, SPD Tonic, Horse Spirit, and Saizo Pair Up. A 30% SPD growth and a base 7 SPD stat should not be that bad. My Sakura has 22 DEF as a Priestess and she has a 30% growth in DEF and I never had to give her anything.
I am pretty confident the Orochi I got should not be that slow. 30% SPD growth is annoying, but workable if RNG is acting normally and not screwing her over.
Looks like that confidence was misguided
. She normally can't even reach 20 SPD as a Lvl. 20 Onmyoji.

My Orochi currently has a speed of 9.
Wow. It seems like Fates had to make up for certain classes being impossible to obtain in one run or another by making strangely balanced stats on some units. Such as surprisingly tanky monks and mages, or extremely slow sky knights.
It's a shame that the only way for her to get access to Knight is Corrin, because Wary Fighter would be a good way for her to make up for that atrocious speed.

Updated listing of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - Memorial Book Tellius Recollection Vol.1
A compilation of official documents from developer Intelligent Systems. For the first time, official documents revealing three aspects of character designs will be revealed, such as their background in this world, and rough sketches of their original illustrations. In addition to that, this book features info on the full story, setting, every support conversation, a directory of character names (even enemy commanders), and much more. Everything you need to know about Path of Radiance wrapped up in one package. The character designer, Senri Kita, makes a special return to draw the cover for this book, too!
Sounds pretty awesome, would make a nice compliment to the Memorial Book Akaneia Chronicle
Volume 2 will be released sometime later in Autumn, and will be focusing on Radiant Dawn.

Enjoyment and Excitement!Eh, Void Curse seems like a pretty good way to keep players from grinding out infinite EXP on infinite reinforcements when that's very much not the point of them.
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiWith Siegbert's paralogue, sure, but that's more because the whole map has some pretty questionable design going on. Conquest 21's is more to encourage you to get moving and not dick around.

It's stupid how easy it is to make Robin untouchable. I definitely need to replay this on Hard or Lunatic.
I'm really not liking how Awakening changes the music to a generic track every time the enemy phase starts. I can't enjoy the soundtrack when it keeps getting interrupted.
Was there a point to the whole war with Valm or did they just really need filler to pad out the game? It's practically disconnected from the whole Grima thing.

I suppose they needed to get one or two of the spheres from Valm. But it's bascly padding. At least Cervantes and Excellus are pretty memorable characters.
Bewitching EyesJust found out Walhart was voiced by Richard Epcar. Surprised I didn't recognize him since he has a very distinct presence (and he's awesome), but I'll blame that on the limited voice lines.
The Valm Arc also introduces Tiki to the main characters, as well as provide a smokescreen for Validar to secretly muster the forces of the Grimleal while the other kingdoms are busy dealing with Walhart.
Honestly though, I feel that the Valm Arc was meant to be a nod to the game Fire Emblem Gaiden. If Fire Emblem: Awakening was meant to be a compilation of things from all the other games (due to possibly being the last game in the franchise), they had to reference Fire Emblem Gaiden somehow.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."OFC it's a Gaiden reference. The volcano's called Doma's Corpse or something in the Japanese version. Plus Inigo's map is Rigel's Great Gate and I think Brady's is the Temple of Mila.
Bewitching EyesIt's a distraction to let Validar keep his plot going, yeah. It does connect to both the preceding and succeeding arcs, though; Gangrel's conquest was because he wanted to unite the continent against Walhart's encroaching threat, and Walhart's conquest was because he wanted to stop Grima's resurrection himself.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!

Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention, I had a dream last night where I met Rhajat IRL and we were dating.
... And she kept spamming me with clips from obscure anime via text message, and got offended when I didn't respond withing a few minutes. Oh, Rhajat.
