I keep Corrin as a Nohr Noble for the most part. Any skill I could possibly want for him I can buy from other people's Castles.
As for why Nohr over Hoshido Noble, I just like the outfit more. Fancy cravat, less floofy cape, sleeker armour. Plus Nohr Noble doesn't melt at the mere sight of magic, and is slightly faster.
Had I Kana, I'd make her the opposite Noble of whatever Corrin is, but I married Niles, soo....

Bewitching EyesHaven't verified it myself, but I've been told that if you don't bring Azura for Birthright 10, you can kill Takumi and he'll still force join afterward.
For Lilith, it's worth noting that she has soft stat caps depending on the level of her temple. Keep feeding her, though. Every three pieces of food is worth a Gold Bar, regardless of if she gains any stats.

Yes, Witch and Ballistician are DLC classes. You can, however, get a free Witch or Ballistician upgrade item with the "Gift from Anna" free DLC.
Current main team's skill setup for my file.
Corrin (Nohr Noble): Dragon Fang, Astra, Draconic Hex, Hoshidan Unity, Nohrian Trust
Niles (Ballistician): Aether, Ignis, Opportunity Shot, Sol, Surefooted
Xander (Vanguard): Aegis, Vantage, Astra, Aether, Strengthtaker
Ryoma (Swordmaster): Vantage, Astra, Swordfaire, Duelist's Blow, Life or Death
Camilla (Malig Knight): Savage Blow, Trample, Aether, Bowbreaker, Lifetaker
Hinoka (Spear Master): Darting Blow, Seal Defence, Seal Speed, Lancefaire, Rend Heaven
Leo (Dark Flier): Lifetaker, Bowbreaker, Ignis, Rally Spectrum, Speed +2
Takumi (Sniper): Astra, Certain Blow, Bowfaire, Air Superiority, Amaterasu
Elise (Maid): Inspiration, Live to Serve, Warp, Toxic Brew, Demoiselle
Sakura (Priestess): Miracle, Renewal, Magic Counter, Darting Blow, Amaterasu
Azura (Songstress): Luck +4, Inspiring Song, Voice of Peace, Veteran Intuition, Aegis
Silas (Bow Knight, currently): Luna, Sol, Shurikenbreaker, Armored Blow, Aegis
I have finally become a Butler.
Also, this is the first time I've gone through with the whole "wait until Level 20 to promote", and gods, is it trying my patience.
My units better be freaking Saitama by the end of the game for this.

I believe it got a bit nerfed in Fates, but since I haven't unlocked it myself, I can't say how.
It was really good on people with aftermath skills such as Despoil or Leif's Blade, since it gave you two attempts for it each turn instead of one. Was probably the only way I could afford to grind in Awakening Hard Mode.
Anyway, fates talk. It's kind of confusing what classes children inherit from their parents. Siegbert has access to all the classes Xander has, but doesn't have Charlotte's Troubadour line, just her Fighter ones. So what skills should I be looking at passing down?
Takumi and Oboro are both 15+, so I'm guessing that's my next recruited child. Just not sure what to pass down. Is there an A+ rank I should grab so one or the other has something interesting to give?
The kids get their parents' base classes (or Pegasus Knight if Azura is the mom because Dancer is exclusive to her) as reclass options on top of their own personal reclass options. If a class is gender exclusive, like Monk or Shrine Maiden, they get the appropriate counterpart. Try to pass down useful skills from their parent's secondary classes that they can't get otherwise, like giving Sieggy Inspiration from reclassing Charlotte to Strategist or Tomebreaker from Maid (good luck grinding those out, though).
Kana gets the Avatar's secondary (chosen at character creation) as their reclass option plus their other parent's base.

Takumi's secondary class is Lance Fighter, so Oboro is a bit of a suboptimal partner in that regard; Kiragi will have Archer, Lance Fighter and Apothecary.
Class inheritance goes this way: Child's class, then father's class, then mother's class, but to the point the child will have 3 classes. For example, Orochi!Midori will have Apothecary as her class, and will get Ninja from Kaze and Diviner from Orochi.
Oboro!Kiragi will have Archer as his class, and so will get Takumi's secondary class, Lance Fighter. As that is Oboro's class, he will get from Oboro her secondary class, Apothecary.
In the case of complete overlap (Beruka!Percy), the child will get the equivalent from the other nation (and thus Percy would get Sky Knight).
Kaden and Keaton have hidden third classes they can't reclass to but can pass on (Apothecary and Outlaw, respectively).
Also, when in doubt, try to pass down skills from A+ supports or classes the kid cannot attain. For example, I passed down Swordfairie to Siegbert. Oboro!Kiragi can get Savage Blow and Lifetaker that way.
I gave Siegfried Death Blow and Aegis. The latter was probably a bad idea, but can't really change it now.
Now I'm wondering how the inheritance works out when you mix Corrin or Azura with one of the shapeshifters...
It's rather difficult to keep track of what classes promote into what Hoshido side, because there's confusing similarities in all the magic and naginata using classes.
There's Spear Master, which is obviously spear fighter, but then you've got a mix of three classes using tomes, spears, and rods, and it's very difficult to keep track of which comes from where.
Wasn't it easy? Charting things up rather than complaining about them being hard to understand is good advice good teachers give.
@Marps: Galeforce got hit with the nerf hammer a decent amount- you can't be paired up at all if you want Galeforce to activate. Still, some characters can definitely get great mileage out of it, although that's pretty much restricted to Leo in Conquest.
Also you're always going to be underlevelled. You'll never not be in Conquest.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeWhat I did in Revelations (and this is a good idea for BR too) was to use Friendship Seals to make sure the kids inherited skills they wouldn't normally get (like passing Counter down to Oboro's kid via Rinkah)
Bewitching EyesI should note that Shrine Maiden and Monk are identical besides name. Priestess and Great Master have slightly different stats (The former favors Mag, Luck, and Res slightly while the latter favors Str, Skl, and Def slightly) and use different weapons (Yumi+Batons for the former, Naginata+Batons for the latter), but learn the same skills and count as the same class when it comes to inheritance and Partner/Friendship seals.
Also, the male and female versions of Troubador are identical except that females get the Demoiselle skill while males get the Gentilhomme skill, which are themselves identical except for which gender units they effect. Male kids can still inherit Demoiselle and female kids can still inherit Gentilhomme, however, if you feel like being silly.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! If you're feeling really silly, give Foreign Princess to Shigure.
I finally beat Heirs of Fate End on Hard with all kids surviving. Had to use a totally different strat than Easy and it took like 3 times the amount of turns (30ish?), but it's done and I can give Point Blank to Niles on my unfinished Conquest file.

I actually did pass down Foreign Princess to Shigure once, just for some cheap giggles over "Disney Princess" jokes. Totally worth it.

Draconic Hex is great pre-Corrin being strong enough to murder everything. Not being a sword-using class means you skip out on the delicious Yato, tho.
