Alternate Character Interpretation due to me being exposed to the Inheritance Cycle before Touhou. When I played through 10, I really did not expect that kind of personality. Nonetheless, I like Hina.

I moved it from the bottom of the video to the top. Wiki Magic (and portals) are fun.

Like why Reimu is so against Youkai life? That's why there's Wild Mass Guessing.
edited 9th May '12 8:05:01 PM by totlmstr
Oh, there are grudges. Miko and Byakuren are still clearly harboring a mutual grudge in SOPM.
It's just that we don't get a whole lot of insight into the daily lives of most of the characters.
Though only tangential to a discussion about grudges, this remains my favorite exchange from the symposium.
Kanako: *giggle*
Marisa: I hate you.

I write some fanfiction. Satori's Tale is done... but I'm not. She's against Youkai because it is the job of a Shrine Maiden to exterminate those who are evil. And all Youkai are evil to some extent, even if it's just their powers and not their personality.
It's the only law of the land, and she's its sole keeper. Though some other humans can try to uphold it, in the end it is the role set aside for her.
Miko: Immortal. Byakuren: Immortal. Grudge acceptable.

I have no horse, and I must ride. I accomplish unlockments.Well, her and Sanae.
But nah, Reimu just had a few bad personal experiences with youkai. Like a vampire who never goes away, people who keep wrecking her shrine, youkai that make her fight other youkai in a blazing hell while she's wearing her winter clothes...
And the worst of all... youkai that seem to bring wealth and fame, only to steal away your vitality, ultimately taking all the wealth they accumulated for you as well.
Reimu was hurt bad by the tube fox.
I write some fanfiction. Satori's Tale is done... but I'm not.Touhou pretty much runs on 'Angst? What Angst?', and that's one of the three things I like about it most.

I make video games! Or plan to, anyway.I didn't even realize it was a pun until I read it the third time...
I'unno. There's plenty of angsting, but it's in the backstory mostly. Look at Koishi or Mokou's profiles. They angsted hard. They just don't anymore. Of course, for most of the characters, we just don't know enough about them to tell if they angst or not... Nitori, for example. Maybe she's angsty because she wants to meet humans but is too shy or whatever. We don't know.
That is, there's as much angst as you find. Which is one thing I like about it.

I write some fanfiction. Satori's Tale is done... but I'm not.Unattended marketplace? That makes it sound like one of those roadside stands where you just put money in a box and take whatever. I prefer the vending machine translation.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersStill doesn't explain why she's asking for a "What the Hell, Hero?" moment at the end of the meeting in Symposium of Post-mysticism. That is not normal for Touhou, as far as I can tell.
Note: Miko is awesome.

And also evil. She'd have a goatee if she still had the pores for it.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAll I can say is Shogi is serious business.
She almost became dinner after breaking some holes in roofs.
Fairies are technically youkai, but I am not sure if they count towards the spending lots of time with youkai and you become a youkai.
@Yuyuko: Hakugyoukurou is at least 200 yojanas wide, so there are lots of space, more so than Gensokyo. There are also plenty of ghosts and some friends to talk to.
@kill counts: Mokou and Murasa may have high kill counts and probably Eirin too, but Kaguya? I don't believe her kill count is even in the double digits.
Uh, I am unsure if her personality changed. She may see things differently when dead, and thus act accordingly.
@hair color: Several people have different hair colors. The most obvious one is Mokou. Yuyuko goes from human to ghost, there is no saying that you cannot just change your hair color when you become a ghost.
@wiki: I trust the wiki, but not fully, as there are erroneous information, even if it is rare. When something is posted in what seems to be an opinion, that is when you should learn not to completely trust it.
This is too good, the "youkai expert".
You do know that Kisume is ferocious as heck right?
@Reimu and reading newspapers: She did not buy any newspapers, but she most likely read all of the newspapers that are given to her.
@Reimu fighting people in the Symposium: She does not have to actually fight all 3 of them. Byakuren and Miko are unlikely to be on the same side. So, she only really needs to beat up Kanako.
Huh? The reason why spell card rules were invented was because youkai were afraid of killing Reimu.
@Reimu and Aya: I like both Aya and Reimu.
As far as I can tell, there is no difference between "Yama" and "Enma". They both mean the same thing.

Everything is relative.Only because Aya tricked her into thinking the papers were cursed. Before that she simply threw them into her storehouse and ignored them.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersStupid Reimu... She's a load-bearing boss. And she's coasting on that knowledge. grrr.
The point is that it was published so long ago that its a very poor example of why youkai are still bad.
hehe...
So, now I just got the idea that Reimu, upon being requested to bust up the symposium, got an awesome idea. She'd go and get proof. She rushes over to youkai mountain, beats up Aya, and demands that Aya give her proof that youkai are terrible terrible things and shouldn't be allowed to do anything nowadays because theyr'e still terrible people.
And Aya gives her the worst evidence of this... ancient news reports, ones that pain youkai in a good light, or at least nonthreatening, and ones completely unrelated to the topic.
Reimu doesn't read them and rushes off to bust up the symposium. Where everyone humors her because why not, they had a good talk, and it's totally time for the afterparty. Where they'll talk about how hilarious Aya's little prank was.
I write some fanfiction. Satori's Tale is done... but I'm not.

And then he deleted the message so now it looks like we're crazy
