A transdimensional society?

I'm working on a setting revolving around a transdimensional society, though probably not in the way you think. There are five dimensions, and, through a special Magi Tech, one can travel between them (with enough money, of course). Each is the home of a different sentient species and a different form of magic, as follows:

  • Tir: Home to the Sidhe. Tir is mostly uninhabitable to non-Sidhe because it doesn't contain breathable air. (Sidhe don't breathe, and, in fact, do not have noses at all.)

It's never described much in-story, but it's clear that technology isn't very advanced and what does exist never incorporates metal (because of the traditional myth of Faeries not being able to touch iron).

Tirran magic is called the Glamour and focuses on charming people and crafting illusions.

  • Avernus, realm of Demons, is basically Fire and Brimstone Hell except much more pleasant. Home to extreme temperatures (both hot and cold) and harsh terrain.

Oddly enough, the areas most full of life are those you'd least expect: communities next to small volcanoes. Volcanic soil is very fertile, and the crops produced near them are more than enough to keep citizens of such towns fed.

Demonic society is straightforward and about as nuanced as a brick. In a land where Everythings Trying To Kill You, evolution favours quick reflexes over quick wits. Oddly enough, though, their technology exceeds that of the Sidhe, though it assuredly falls short of Humanity's. For nearly half a century, Demons have had a bad name because of their spartan attitude and gruesome*

adulthood ceremonies, but reception in the other dimensions is slowly warming up to them as the other species realize they aren't all monsters.

Avernian magic is the most overtly destructive, frequently causing explosions, combustion, and generally painful death.

  • The Broken: Legend has it that this desolate wasteland was once a paradise, home to a species whose blood tingled with the power of the stars themselves. This people, having attained a near-perfect society, lived as guides and sages to the other, more primitive species.

However, as time went forward, contempt and pride began to take root, transforming this idyllic society into a crazed legion bent on genocide. They waged a crusade against the other planes for decades, before an alliance between the Sidhe, Demons, and another species called the Elves defeated them at great cost to all sides, especially the Elves. The destruction reached into the heart of the plane itself, twisting a once vibrant land into so much ash and dust.

  • Alfara: Home of the Elves, a savage, lush plane brimming with life locked in a fierce competition for survival. The Elves, once a great and numerous people, have been nearly destroyed, surviving only as roaming hunter-gatherer tribes for centuries.

  • Terra, home of Humans. Not Earth's Humans, but extremely similar. Bustling metropolises cap the land, powered by advanced Magi Tech;flying vehicles (hell, flying houses), guns that shoot tiny projectiles so dense they can puncture four feet of steel, the list goes on.

Human magic focuses on manipulation of gravity and related things (mass, density, et cetera), and is the cornerstone of their impressive Magi Tech.

Of course, you're probably wondering "where's the 'society' part come in?"

There are a select few cities that rest in a parallel location on each plane. A system of portals links them, allowing travel between the three at-will. The effectively pandimensional cities host roughly equal populations of Humans, Demons, and Sidhe (the Elves, it has been decided, must be allowed to advance to a certain point before they are contacted) and tend to be massive, effectively city-states of their own. They accept no government from any species in any dimension, and, for the most part, are left alone.

So... thoughts, criticism, et cetera?

My name is Cu Chulainn. Beside the raging sea I am left to moan. Sorrow I am, for I brought down my only son.

Well i guess it's more of a question of what you want to do with the world now.
